I bought this a year ago, and we just put it together this weekend. It was in the box outside on our porch (covered) and the materials held up well. It was fairly easy to put together, though a few of the pre-drilled holes were a little large. It comes with A LOT of screws. I think it took us two hours to put together. I don't remember how much I paid for it, but it is adorable, and the kids were in it the minute we put it in place.
