Love the fact that they put all the new colors out like this
instead of replacing the book sets. Much cheaper that way. Came well packaged with no breakage. Love the new colors and like the rest of this line they sharpen like a dream. Have fun coloring!!!

Expansion set for tombow
Item is as advertised aside from being unsharpened. This is the last 10 expansion pencils for the 90 pc set totaling 100 pencils. These are open stock with upc code stickers that should be removed before sharpening. Item comes with a touchscreen ready pen. Good pencils, sharpen fine. I did remove the upc stickers first then used a good quality hand sharpner

Nice color additions to original 90
Purchased the 10 new colors to complete the 90 pencil color library. These 10 new colors are ones I didn't know I wanted until they completed the set :)

This is only for the pencils.
Even though the pictures show these pencils sharpened, they are not. Even though the pictures show a “green color dictionary,” it is not included. A bit of false advertising going on, what it shows versus what it says. The only things being sold are the pencils. I wanted the new irojiten colors but I thought I was getting what’s pictured. Also the packaging is Amazon typical: a too large mailer bag with the pencils rolling around in it. Nothing broken but they could have put the pencils in a smaller envelope.

Just Thrown in the Box
One of the things I admire about Tombow is the thought put into packaging and presentation. To have these pencils arrive rattling around loosely in the bottom of the box with no container or insert was both surprising and disappointing. I will also add that these pencils are nothing like those in the dictionaries, or any of my other Tombows which have a firm core. These are soft and crumble slightly and have the texture of a cheaper colored pencil.

Great colored pencils!
I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed these pencils! I saw this listing for the new colors & had to get them! They produce lovely colors that are richly pigmented. I really love the complete set's color palette! Such beautiful colors! They act nothing like a Faber Castell or Prismacolor. They're almost like a pastel, but a creamy pastel! They are very east to blend and they are great for detail! These pencils have a harder lead, if you will, and will hold a point much, much longer than a Prismacolor. I would highly recommend the complete set of Tombow Irojitens to any coloring enthusiast!
