Matthias

I was so excited for this series when I heard it was being released. I'm a big fan of Heather's writing. Her stories are written well and suck you in IF you like the genre.I will admit there was quite a bit of swearing in this book but I don't mind. I figured it comes with the type of males and the levels of anger they were displaying.Other then that I was once again sucked in.I'm really pleased Matthias and Mac found their HEA.Can't wait to see what's going to happen with the other enforcers. Will they be from Bea's Pack or Abe's pack? Guess we'll have to wait and see!

The book has some questionable decisions by the FC.They felt more like the author tried to justify the reasons why the FC did something not because they were the most logical to do, but because the author needed the FC in certain place so the plot could move along.

I have had some favorite packs along the way but Mitthias takes the cake for BEST MAN EVER!!Heather MacKinnon knocks this one out of the park. Not only is Matthias my kind of alpha male, he's great with kids, and he's a freaking comic fan!The heat between Matthias and Mack is off the charts without it being "oh great, they're fated mates". Matthias has a past that is his kryptonite but Mack does not let that phase her just like her bad rep doesn't matter to him.Even with the climax, and that stereotypical response that Mack makes, this is an easy love story and I can’t get enough of it!If I had to sum this book up in a few words it would be: wholesome hero helps dimond in the rough heroine to shine like the precious jewel she is.

This was written really well. Went by fast and great editing. Great first connection and I felt the heat between the two, the way it was written.I would say it was a spice level 2 (some vanilla love scenes, but not gratuitous). Definitely not super spicy and a bit slow burn.Her specialty was clothing, but all of a sudden she was training to be an enforcer with just 2 weeks to train and against men who had been physical their whole lives. That is where the book logic lost me. Still a good read, but that just felt disjointed with who/what the characters were up until then.

I loved this book and it is written well. I will be getting more books from Heather. This book had me hooked and I had to find out what happened to Matthias and Mack. They are a fated couple but they have issues from their past they need to deal with to move on. I’m excited to read Emily’s story next.

Story wasn’t as exciting as another I had read from same author. The male lead’s personality and way he spoke also didn’t seem like he would be an enforcer. It was almost like the author was trying to convince themself by describing him an unbeatable and a hulk like body. Nothing else carried the tune.
