Allow enough time. Watch installation video several times prior. Play it at 25 percent full speed and stop as needed and you will be fine.Needed only one screw to hold in light board. Aligning with 2nd and 3rd screw supplied seems a challenge. Since LED board is pretty light weight , one screw should hold it fine.Comes with 3 different length rods for those with higher ceilings than mineThis is our second fan of this brand.Sofucor support staff available to help via Amazon support. Was very responsive when we had trouble with first fan installation. Watching YouTube video on second fan installation greatly helped avoid mistakes. Much smoother installation.Video skipped over installing LED light screws.Added larger washers to ceiling bracket for better hold. See notes in pictures.Glad to have second fan! We are set for future summers and clockwise to push hot air down in winter.

The media could not be loaded. I really like this fan. It is silent and moves a lot of air. I have an air filter in the same room and it is much much noisier than the fan.Packaging was great. Organized and everything was included; even a selection of downloads and batteries for the remote.The instructions are in color with lots of photos. No problems with installation. We have installed other fans before and this one was easy in comparison. Only flaw we came across: the screw heads for the mounting bracket was a touch small and could fit through the slot. We just added a washer and problem solved. I took photos of this.The blades are wood. They are lightweight which is good. The cover for the light is plastic. It looks like glass so that is fine with me.I am very happy with this fan. I saw on another review someone requested a second remote, which I may also do. I would purchase this again.

PROS:I love all the features packed into the remote. From 6 different speeds, to reverse to changing the color of the lights from warm to cool as well as turning them on, off and dimming them, it's all there.Install is fairly easy as long as you follow the suggestions in other reviews rather than the directions. The entire unit is pretty lightweight, which helps.This thing is dead quiet. Even at top speed it's quieter than my other fans.Sofucor's customer service is excellent. Issues with another fan were resolved quickly, and a question I had with this one also drew a fast response!The looks are top notch once mounted.CONS:The blades are REALLY lightweight. I'm hoping they'll hold up well over time, and I'm confident any issues will be cared for, but it was something that jumped out at me.Probably because of the lightweight blades, the differences between speeds isn't very granular. You don't really notice a difference between 2 and 3 for instance, but you might between 1 and 3. On the bright side, you'd think this means the motor isn't working as hard, so hopefully there's a longevity benefit.TBD/Things to be aware of:All controls are on the remote. Can't imagine I'd lose it but a household with kids might be a different animal.I just installed my first 2 products from this company. We'll see how they hold up over time compared to the big box brands but all in all I don't have any significant concerns long term.I didn't want to list this as a Con, but if you're using the shortest downrod like I did, finding a spot for all the excess wiring is a pain. Some sort of modular harness system where you could plug in an extension for the long rod would have eliminated my largest pain point with this product.

The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful fan. I love the real wood blades and modern look. Super easy to install and the remote is intuitive. Multiple speeds and multiple light colors make it customizable. Happy I installed this fan!!

Bought this fan for my bedroom to replace my dated and slightly noisy fan, I wish I could turn back time… The fan looks good and most reviews are positive, we pulled the trigger, purchased it and scheduled for the handyman guy to come over and install it.The first fan they sent us had the wires cut and weren’t fit for installation (first red flag no quality control). The handyman didn’t charge us for this visit as it wasn’t our fault. I requested a replacement which arrived quickly.2nd time that the handyman came over to install the fan everything looked good; he installed it and it was working, he said that the motor was a bit noisy and he did everything he could to make it better; remote was working, lights were good, so apart from being a bit loud it seemed ok. We left the fan on as it’s getting really hot in Vegas.As we were getting ready for bed, around 9:30pm, we turned the fan light on to get next day’s work clothes ready and etc, when all was done and we’re in bed for sleeping, my husband tries to turn the light off using the remote and nothing, tries turning the fan off completely and nothing, nothing was working. We thought maybe the remote needed fresh batteries so we put new batteries, no dice, still not working.After close to 1 hour trying to turn the lights off and keep the fan running, we gave up; it’s a high ceiling so we were able to remove only the light thing from it and had the handyman coming over again to remove this fan from the ceiling ($100 per visit).Stay away from this product if you value your money, buy from a reputable name brand even if it costs more. We ended up spending $200 more between installation and removal of this fan. BUYER BEWARE!
