Highly entertaining
Never once did I put much thought into "cat trivia". My daughter got this for her birthday and now I have learned more trivia about cats than I ever imagined! 😅 A good gift for a cat lover... like my kid. 😉

Fun trivia for cat lovers
These trivia cards have been to use with my kids. We took the set on a recent cross-country drive and the cards were a nice form of entertainment.Pros:- Nice container for holding the medium-heavy weight glossy cards.- The question is on one side of the card with the answer on the other. That way you don't accidentally see the answer.- A fun way to learn facts about felines.Cons:- My kids love both domestic and wild felines and know quite a bit about them...and these questions are still hard! We enjoyed learning new facts, but it can be a little frustrating to have so many difficult questions. I think these are better suited to teens and adults.

Exactly as advertised
(Photos included, banana for scale)We love cats, so an opportunity for cat trivia and learning fun facts went over really well at our house. Some observations: The box is small but decent quality and cute. The cards are decent too; looks like it's been edited properly for grammar, spelling, and formatting. It's not a translation from another language. This isn't so much of a game (though there are instructions on the side of the box directing players to collect the most cards by answering correctly). We used it while sitting down for dinner as a form of chatty entertainment and mild competition. My kids are 5, 7, and 8, and the 8 year old had a tough time with a lot of the words on the cards (breeds and the names of famous people and places, mostly). I ended up having to read the questions for them. Some are the cards are true/false or multiple choice, so they were able to make guesses even when they had no clue. The ones that required an actual answer were nearly impossible for them. They're not as difficult for adults, who are more in tune with pop culture, history, and geography. The questions ranged from things specifically about breeds, anatomy, and behavior, to big cats, historical cats, geographical origins, popular culture, literature, famous owners etc. Many of the answers included some tongue in cheek humor, but nothing inappropriate. It was just fine for a family gathering. We enjoyed reading these facts, and by the time we get through the entire box, we may be prompted to dig deeper and learn more. If nothing else, we'll be able to tuck this information away in our brains and be insufferable know-it-alls at the next social occasion.

great cat fact game
Great little trivia cards with a ton of knowledge about cats! I have learned so much about cats that I never knew before. It is great and entertaining. This would also make a purrfect gift for any cat lover. We did a jeopardy style game with whoever buzzes in first and gets the answer right gets to keep the card and at the end of the huge stack the person with the most cards wins. Wrong answers gets the card randomly shuffled back into the deck of remaining questions.

Will make me more "cat intelligent"
How fun, entertaining, and educational. I never thought about knowing so much about cats, but it is fun learning all these things about them. The questions aren't all directly about cats, but history, literature, science, entertainment - all subjects that may be able to indirectly be affected by cats. Think of it as Trivial Pursuit with a cat theme. Sure, you can sit and read through the cards yourself, or share them at dinner with family and friends. You can use them as an ice breaker at an event too. I used mine the first time with my cat-loving BFF. I tried to stump her with each question and each made us expand the conversation on the topic. I love the way the box is designed as the top and the bottom are each half the height of the cards so you can transfer the used card into the flipped over top to discard it after you have read the card.

The Cat's Meow!
I bought this item for my 11-year-old niece who is a cat-lover (much to the chagrin of her aunt, who is Team Dog). Although it is marketed as a game, there's really not much "game play" other than answering questions, so I believe it works much better as an informal activity for a group or solo. This would be an excellent way to pass time on a car trip, since the box is pretty small and portable. Although the questions are not specifically directed toward kids, it is still family friendly. Now I just need to buy the one about dogs for myself, since DOGS RULE! ;-)
