Visceral
I don't know how to say goodbye to this series. Especially when the author saved the coldest for last. While Finn might not be as openly violent as some of the other men, he is the most closed off. He has a very good reason for it and that is indirectly how he meets Anissa. Anissa has been sheltered and when Finn bursts into her life, she is scared and rightfully so. He is ruthless and intimidating, yet he doesn't hurt her, not really. The connection between these two is so jagged and sharp, it could slice them both to the bone. This brought out a rollercoaster of emotions in me. I know that we will see glimpses of these characters in the future, in another series. However, that a bit of cold comfort. This is a visceral series, it grabs you by the throat and roars in your face. This author pushed herself, put everything out there on the page and didn't hold back. Her writing made me fall in love with each of these broken men for who they are and the women they love. To me, that is the truest mark of an author's talent, 10 stars for Finn and Anissa!

The light to Finn’s Dark!
Ohhhhh Finnegan. I’ve been dying for his story and I’m glad it’s finally here. Finn and Anissa’s story was the perfect ending to this series and gave us everything we wanted as readers. You find out why Finn is the way he is and who caused him to be a monster in his own eyes. Anissa is the perfect match for him. She is the light to his dark but also loves him for who he is, not what he’s done. She allows him to feed his dark side with her. Loved loved loved their story!

Okay/good read. Well, this series was a little hard to digest. Finn and Anissa well what can I say. I still think Ciaran and Parisha are worse than these two. I am trying to find the words to describe this book. Finn was raped as a young boy and sought to make all those pay who took and take advantage of innocent kids. Bella, Anissa’s mom was one of those ppl. Finn saw something in Anissa and instead of killing her he made her his. I understand the wanting to protect and avenge those who were wronged but this is a whole other level. I have read plenty of Mila Crawford books and have loved them but again this series was on the dark side. I do not plan on reading the sequel to this series. I say that now, but it could change.

Finn's childhood broke my heart!
Read the trigger warnings before reading this book!!! This book has violence starting in chapter 1. Anissa has lived a sheltered life. That is until her mother has her limps cut off in front of her and she's drug from her home. Finn's life is surrounded in darkness and violence. Due to a horrific childhood, he can't stand the thought of being close to any woman. That is until he sees Anissa. There's something about her that makes him want to be a better man. But can a man that has only known violence, actually learn to love? Through all of the depravity and darkness that makes up Finn, there's a gentle and sweetness that he only shows Anissa. Finn's book was an excellent ending to this series! I definitely can't wait for the next series to start!!

Love in Chaos
Such a dark, twisted, smutty and deliciously kinky story!! Anissa is the daughter of Finn’s enemy and has him torn up like nothing else has before. What should’ve been an easy kill for him turns into something raw and real and surprises them both. But even with the tormented history Finn has lived, the intensity and passion and love they share is so explosive!! I just love Mila Crawford’s stories!!

Hard subject matter but well written
Hard subject matter to cover but a well written story. This author doesn't shy away from the hard topics, the alternative life styles or the happy ever after for everyone, even if they and their lives are unconventional. Good read. Again.

Wow!
What an amazing conclusion to the Unlocked series! Mila saved the best for last. Finn's story was one that I was waiting for from the very beginning and it didn't disappoint. Finn and Anissa had a nightmare of a beginning but she brought the light to his darkness. Finally seeing Finn's story was terrible, but seeing how Anissa helped him through it was touching. Highly recommend this one!

Another great novella
Finn goes to kill the women who ruined his childhood but he doesn’t expect her daughter to be there. Instead of killing Anissa like his instinct tells him to he takes her with him. The minute he sees Anissa she stirs something in him he hasn’t felt for a long time. When Finn tells Anissa why he’s so messed up and it’s all because of her mother I really did feel for him. No Mila I didn’t cry but I did get a huge lump in my throat after knowing what he was subjected to.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was a fun, hot read that also carries a heartbreaking story. Make sure to check the TW at the beginning of the story. If you're looking for a quick read with loads of spice, I would definitely recommend this one. So far this has been my favourite book in this series.

Darkness is drawn to light
This was a very quick read, which I enjoyed, but due to the darker issues surrounding the couple, I would have enjoyed it more if it was a longer story. Their darkness turns quickly as finn is drawn to the one woman he shouldn't be, Alissa. She's caught in a lie she didn't know existed, but through their truths. Find a life together.
