cold steel don't disappoint me yet. I just got this karambit, and its really impressive. Solid and safe grip a difference of other karambits. Really sharp and the tip is like a surgical scalpel. More longer than i thought. High Quality Karambit for the price. If you love karambits you should get this one.

The metal is a more basic one, so it won't keep edge for long, but it is what I need! I am using this as a gardening tool! The hookbill blade makes for a great mini hand sythe, so I am using it to cut the roots of some stubborn weeds below the soil! I looked for actual sythes and such, but I really wasnt sure what I was getting since they were no-name brands. With Cold Steel, I can look up the details of the metal and know that Cold Steel is a good name for inexpensive knives. It's working great for my odd needs. I wipe it clean and then spray it down with WD-40 after use (don't let the wd-40 rest on the rubber handle). So far so good!

This knife is so goated. It is sharp as hell and the perfect length (most other karambit knives are just too short and this one is 4.75").

This is a bad little knife with little use except defense or offense. When I mean bad I mean do some damage. The needle tip has already embedded itself into my arm when I tried to do some careless tricks. It is big, comfortable, light, and strong. I know I should buy a trainer to use the knife to full potential. Do not buy the Honshu or CoGo/GoCo clone as they do not have the full tang and are junk in comparison at the same or a higher price. Trust Cold Steel to deliver. Only reason I dropped a star is because you need a skill set to use the knife.

Get it with the trainer if you are not used to using karambit. Knife is very sharp and big.

It was everything I hoped for. I have been after this knife for years but was scared away by the high price tag. I found it for $45 here on Amazon and boy am I glad I picked it up. The weight, balance, length, and sharpness are perfect. The blade is long enough that you can still do a forward stab like on regular knives which is difficult in most karambits. The grip is very comfortable and this thing is light. About the only thing I can say that is negative about this blade is that it IS rather large for a karambit. The thickness of the grip and length of the blade may throw you off. However, this length is exactly what I was looking for so I'm 110% satisfied.Best Karambit on the market.

This is the most comfortable knife I've ever held. It fits perfectly into my hand, and that is incredibly rare. I have larger hands so almost every fixed blade I own has a handle that's way too small for me. Edge was good out of the box and ready to go. Reminder to anyone looking at this knife, this is a karambit not just a fixed blade knife. They are meant to be held in a reverse grip ONLY.Where it lost points for me was the sheath. The clip is removable, so I pulled that off and put on an EDC clip that I got separately... Which fit poorly because the sheath is so thin and mounting options are limited. I had to use some small plumbing seals I had to get the clip to lock on correctly. However, because of this rigging there is absolutely ZERO way to carry this discreetly. Which means I'll never carry it and that completely defeats the purpose of buying it in the first place. So, into the drawer it goes.
