Healwell Soft Ease Multi AFO/Heel Suspender Small/Medium

Well made product.

I have had PF for over a year, with little relief from proper shoes, exercises, orthotics, ice, rest. If you have it, you know what it's like: you get a little relief for a few days and think, "ahhh, it's finally over" only to have it come back. I seem to be somewhat of a "princess and the pea" sort of person with things on/around my feet when I'm trying to sleep, so the Straussburg socks that worked great for my husband were sheer torture for me. I bought the Healwell soft-ease heel suspender, thinking that it looked like it might be soft and comfortable enough to keep my foot in a flexed position and still allow me to sleep. I am able to comfortably sleep with no problems and can walk in the morning without pain.

Works for heel elevation but bottom is too rigid to wear.

Ordered for my daughter.. she is confined to a wheelchair and this is great for relieving pressure on her heels!

Front Plastic part in boot easily broken, when moved the top toe caught on something and broke, plastic piece was to thin. Design works well, and cover removes for washing but had to fix plastic with duck tape should last for a while. You get what you pay for most other boots were much more expensive.

I love the style of this, with the heel suspended and the toe longer than the foot (to keep the covers from weighing down my foot) and it is very comfortable and helps with the pain from my foot drop. The downside is that it is nearly impossible to keep the Velcro fastened. I use a sock and an elastic band (over the "straps") to keep it on, and this just shouldn't be necessary. I'd have given more stars if that weren't a serious problem.

After only a couple months, the Velcro stopped sticking. I had to use shoe closure extenders to fasten,the straps. Not optimal at all. Please fix this issue somehow.
