I've used the Grubstick a couple of times since purchase. It works very well for cooking s'mores or other small items. I also tried using the Grubcage to heat entire s'mores. You should heat the marshmallows first, but the cage works well for warming the chocolate slightly more after. The release tool worked well for opening the cage and is a nice touch that other brands have lacked. Fully telescoped out, the Grubstick can feel just a bit thin or weak but is still sturdy. I also used the Grubstick extensively for prodding the fire throughout the night which I'm sure is not a recommended use and subjected it to very extreme heat, but it held up well nonetheless without any issue. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be that the attachments that screw on still feel a bit too easy to unscrew.

I bought this for my teenage daughter and she absolutely loves it. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and the storage bag it comes.with is wonderfully useful. Great product!

Like some of the others on here, I didn't quite read the description well enough and I assumed I was getting 4 complete sets. When just 1 showed up, I went back and took a closer look... well you DO NOT get 4 full sets for $29.99. This was a shame-on-me moment for not paying closer attention. For $19.99, ok... but an extra $10 for a fork attachment and a bag... eh, I would have passed on the "4 Piece Kit". Overall, the quality seems ok and mine didn't break on the first, 2nd or 3rd extension as a few others noted. Although, it has yet to meet fire, so stay posted for the trial run. I will say I won't be testing it out with a watermelon like they picture.

We were bragging about how great the quality seemed on these were during our Christmas bonfire and just as we spoke, one broke in our hand. Hoping to exchange and give it another go, but not impressed so far.

I cannot overstate the poor quality of the stick itself, the weld on the handle broke during the first use. As I went to extend the handle to give it so my daughter to make a smore on the 4th the handle came apart from the stick. The quality is on par with a seven year old's shop project. I made a piggy bank 25 years ago that is better quality than this. This product is a great concept but the lack of attention to quality makes it a total failure. Instead of paying $30-$150 for these sets I suggest investing that money with someone who knows how to weld to develop a competing product of quality and then you'll actually have the last roasting stick you'll ever need....as advertised.

I was one of the Kickstarter backers on this and was thrilled to see it on Amazon too. I've used it many times now, and it never fails. I've recommended it to many friends, it's a great kit! If you like campfires, this is a must have!

I am writing a review of my own opinion of the Grubstick. Which I Recieved at a discounted price in exchange. I really like this Grill Stick from Grubstick. Unfortunately the broil/grill basket is not going to be large enough for me. Great for Smores, hotdogs, sausages, etc.I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Bc the broil/grill basket is to small for my liking. If you made your own hamburgers from scratch. I believe you can make them fit. But if you want to use frozen patties like I do. Then this item with be to small.

Great for campfires!! Love this!! It’s a great product.
