I bought this remote keyfob for my 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 truck. It was easy to pair with my truck without dealer programming, detailed instructions can be found on YouTube. After a year of use and abuse, it still works like the day I got it. Great product, at a reasonable price.

Excellent Replacement, works exactly as it should. Defiantly a better choice then to go to the dealer and get new keys. Instructions were spot on and I was able to get it programmed in less than 5 minutes. I would highly reccomend this key fob who is in need of a replacement one!

Works

At first I could not get the remotes to program. After multiple attempts, including by a Chevy dealership who noted that the ID on the FOB was NOT recognized by Chevy, I was ready to return them with a demand for a return of my money. HOWEVER, make sure you read ***ALL*** of the DIY instructions, including the 25 all button press RESET sequence. After performing this simple task, the remotes programmed without further difficult and continue to work. ***RECOMMENDATION*** Do the reset process FIRST no matter what and THEN try to program the remote!
