Good price, no outrageous clamed of lumens
I get these type of flashlights and have one in every vehicle I own. I like the fact this seller didn't claim them to be something they are not. Too often you get the massive amount of lumen claim, and they aren't... This seller is OK in my book because of that. These are plenty bright enough to hurt someone's eyes if you point it at them with a halfway or more concentrated beam. The end has sharp serrations, and could possibly be used in a last ditch self defense effort. I also like the fact that it returns to the high beam after not using it for a few moments. The orange button cover flashlights usually do that, while the green button covered flashlights will stay where you put them. So, if you turn this flashlight off when you have it on strobe, then let it set for a few moments, then turn it on and it will be on high beam. If you want strobe, you have to cycle it through to strobe again. Some say the Strobe is supposed to ward off attackers. It never bothered me, but it sure makes my wife sick when the strobes are on. I give that a 50/50 probability that strobes might slow an attacker down, but might not. Other than that, these seem to hold up just fine and are very bright, and are 1/10th the price of those high end flashlights. These CREE LEDs are great and seem to last forever. I still use the first one I ever had, functions as it did the day I git it. I will buy these over and over again and give them out to my family members as presents, etc.

Hurricane Victims are extremely pleased!
I bought several of these flashlights to give as gifts to friends in Cuba a week after Irma. The following day, everyone thanked me for what they considered the best gift ever. I know virtually nothing about selecting flashlights, and I pored over the descriptions and reviews of literally hundreds before cautiously choosing this one. I went for the most economical flashlights that had high lumens, were durable, and offered what I considered to be very useful functions. I recognize that the category of tactical flashlights implies very specific functions, of which I have absolutely no knowledge, but I have to give these flashlights the highest rating because, from the point of view of my friends recuperating after a hurricane, these flashlights gave them what they knew they needed and more. They praised these flashlights specifically for being water-proof, light-weight, ergonomic (easy to grasp for a friend with psoriatic arthritis), extremely bright (one friend said he tested it for the distance that the light could travel), able to function under water, durable (drop-proof), and having lamps capable of focusing the light to narrow (or widen) as necessary. They also were happy to have the option of using alkaline batteries or the rechargeable batteries (charger included). They speak so highly of these flashlights, I have decided to buy some for myself as I believe that these flashlights will more than suffice for my needs.

They are not as bright as I expected but they are nice flashlights
I must tell me that I ordered these. We just ended up getting hit by a blizzard that dumped 11 inches of snow. I have gotten is because my last ones I had broke and I wanted to have flashlights around just in case. Thank God I did because we did have some issues with flickering power and power loss during the storm and these were very helpful. They are not as bright as I expected but they are nice flashlights

Great, Bright light
This little flashlight not only has a slide adjust to concentrate the beam, the bright, Brighter, and Strobe options, it also has an "Emergency Flash" which flashes out S.O.S.My husband loves this light. It's good and Bright. It's Small enough that he can carry it Anywhere in his pocket and use it in tight places where other larger flashlights just aren't helpful. It's durable, so if it's dropped it doesn't immediately break "into a million pieces". This one is Worth the price! We had been buying similar little flashlights from Harbor Freight, because they are the perfect size for my husband, who is a mechanic, to carry around in his pocket. They were bright and adjusted to what he needed, but they Were Not as bright or durable as this little flashlight!

Bright, hefty, seems very well made, with five settings plus zoom.
A good purchase. These are solid and well-constructed, have a really nice ''heft'' and balance, and wow -- Bright! The first two settings give you intense brightness, the third seems a little dimmer, the fourth flashes at, I'd guess, three times a second and the fifth -- my fave -- flashes SOS all by itself in Morse code. I realize there are only eight or nine people in America today who know Morse code, but still. You can slide the front section out to reduce the size and increase the brightness of the beam until you're finally left with one very intense square of light. Also, you don't have to go Click, Click, Click. Just don't depress the button fully and you can quickly "tap" to the next setting. I'm told you can use the scalloped front edge to break glass, if need be. No, I don't know why they're called ''tactical,'' although a pretty good advertising gimmick, I must admit.

Not as waterproof as adversized
While these were amazing for the price I paid, they did not perform as advertised. Specifically, thy were not waterproof. I had one fall in water, and thought nothing of it. It worked fine, and I left it on the shelf to dry off. A few days later I grabbed it to head to work, and it would not turn on. Opening it found water inside, corrosion on the battery, and moisture under the lens. I returns them and bought two others my friend reccomended at double the price, and haven't had any issues. That said, I still may repurchase these later for house use, but I do not recommend them for outdoor or work use. Also, the broken english from whatever chinese to english translation they used in the instructons was humorous.
