This has got many plus points. It comes with 2 batteries, which is VERY useful because it is rather frustrating if the battery runs out halfway round the room. With this, you just swap the batteries, so top points for that. The suction is pretty good; it cleaned up a lot of dust and dirt! I particularly like that you can store one of the tools on board, that is a big plus for me. Who wants to go searching for the crevice tool in the middle of hoovering the dining room? Another very handy feature is that you can pull the hose out to pick up odd bits and get in nooks and crannies, and this has a slanted end so it is a very good design feature. The only thing that wouldn't get 5 stars from me is that it is quite heavy. Its nanageable so no real complaint but it is harder work to push round than my similar cordless Shark. So all in all I think this was a good buy and I am pleased with it.

Bought as replacement for my old vax cordless. It’s about a half kilo heavier. The batteries don’t last as long as advertised IF you use them on boost all the time. We found that on tight pile carpets it worked very well on the hard floor setting. The small hand held beater unit was great on the stairs.Very steerable and easy to get under the edges of the settee etc. Came with a 3 year warranty. Peace of mind is valuable.

Bought Amazon Warehouse very good condition ,may have tarnished metal and light scratches,, 153 £,, im severely disabled and in need of a light house cordless vacuum ,, I went away from Hoover that I’ve used for several year’s and into vax ,, firstly it has one battery,, not two !! Then to add insult to injury one light came on while charging.. So that one is faulty… didn’t anyone check ?? Threw away the wrong battery ,, but mine didn’t say anything was missing,,, so I’ve sat round like an idiot all day waiting to use this brand new vacuum . not only can I not use it but it’s not fit for purpose now I’m about 160 quid and I have absolutely no way of returning this huge box to Amazon for a refund . I mentioned I’m severely disabled, and I also do not have a printer…so I’m constantly fed up at not being able to return goods , vax should not let their items get sold , fobbed off, when they clearly don’t work ,, how stupid was I believing I was getting a bargain ,,, feel like I’ve been to a sat market stall

Initially pleased with this vacuum, although a bit heavy and hard to push on thicker carpet it cleaned very well and one battery was more than enough to do a three bedroom house.After about 6 months the brushes stopped turning and I had to return it to Vax for repair. It was not an easy thing to package securely for safe return !One battery failed after 11 months and the brush head failed again at a year. I decided not to have a second repair and requested a return to Amazon for refundTo give Vax credit their warranty support was very good, when I registered the product for the additional 2 years cover I received a 3 year battery warranty and the both the initial repair and battery replacement were done without fuss.

This is a lovely vacuum. We didn't want a stick one as all the weight of the motor is at the top, and we currently have a corded vac that sucks more out than in... so thought time to upgrade.Fantastic so far. The two batteries don't take long to charge and so far seem to do a lot for the run time. It picks up loads too, only had it on for a few mins and it was nearly full. That said, I haven't used the fast function that people said drains the battery, but we are never home so only flick over so probably won't ever get used.It has a light on the front, which is great, I never realised how much fluff there actually was in normal light, this is amazing!It works well on low shag carpets and rugs, we don't have fluffy ones so cannot comment. Also very good on hard floors.Its maneuverability is very good, goes in all directions, unlike my previous vac. I find it light too, not heavy at all. Can easily carry up and down my stairs with ease.It would have had five stars... but... unlike my previous vac, you cannot use the supplied tools autonomously, so you can't vacuum round then get the wand out at the same time, you have to uncouple the hose, attach the tools to the main hose then unattach and put back when done.However, some vacs I looked at had no tools at all, so its a small quibble really. For price paid I am very happy with my Vax upright.

A little heavier than I expected, but has plenty of suction, picks up more pet fur than our old hoover ever did. Two batteries are a bonus and allow plenty of use.Use the carpet function otherwise it won't pick up much stuff.Using the turbo will flatten the battery much quicker.Easy to empty the dust collector, although It's quite hard to open the filter end to clean out the filter.The hose could be longer and that's my main issue with the vacuum, irs easy to pull the vacuum over while using the hose.

I bought this vacuum cleaner as I have already had three Vax’ that worked well. However, this latest Cleaner not only has a design fault but does not clean up to the edges as described. The soft bar in the front that turns for hard floors does not stop went on the carpet mode. Therefore, the pile will wear away and it will not work on hard floors eventually. I cannot clean my rugs as I used to because the hard floor bar would get jammed. Suction is not as good as previous cordless models.

Everything about this vacuum cleaner is great little on the heavy side but that's ok because the sucken and tools and over all use out ways that tried other cordless but will always recommend this vacuum cleaner well done vax
