Bland Budget Board - But Broadly Beneficial
These are my notable experiences when putting this in a silent gaming build with an M.2 HD, 16 GB RAM, an AMD 200GE CPU, and Linux as the OS.UPDATE: I upgraded the system by installing Ryzen 9 3900X and a NVIDIA 1650 Super, both with stock cooling. The components were able to work without a hitch and caused no change to the stability of the system. This was quite impressive, and the only question which remains is longevity - but I have high expectations.The BIOS utility was not intuitive, even installing Windows 8.1 requires some hoops because legacy USB keyboard support is an issue. EZ mode and UEFI were mostly useless. Documentation was grammatically correct but barebones.The M.2 drive requires particular BIOS settings to enable or the board simply will not recognize the disk. Updating the firmware was painless, security was adequate, and the clocks and voltages are simple. Hardware installation was uncomplicated. Overall this board has great value and a wide range of supported configurations once you coax the BIOS.

Works as intended used to build a basic school computer for my little siblings and haven't had any issues since but it's definitely a pretty bare bones motherboard

Good basic am4 motherboard
Purchased for a "new" pc build using some spare parts I had laying around. Overall this was a relatively inexpensive mobo that worked for what I needed.A few notes. I purchased this in the 1st quarter of 2021, it booted fine with the ryzen 2600x installed, some other reviews or questions related to bios versions and which cpus we're compatible.There is a single cpu fan header, a single case fan header and no rgb header. This info can be found on the manufacturer website but having the info here might be useful.I have had no issues with this product, it is as described on both the amazon listing and manufacturer page, it worked as expected out of the box, the menus were easy to navigate.

Incredible Value - Unexpected Durability - No Overclocking Capabilities
High quality board; extremely durable. Parts are well manufactured and the build is quite robust. Lots of reinforced pieces, not easy to break. Onboard audio is beyond amazing for such an inexpensive board. BIOS is visually pleasing and accessing settings is streamlined. Setup is quite easy and there is mostly enough room despite its small size; however, if you have a large video card, it's going to feel tight. My card blocks one of the PCI slots too, but that's no fault of the motherboard itself.My biggest complaint is that this board WILL NOT OVERCLOCK your Ryzen CPU. However, this is the A320 chipset and most people buying this already know that and consider it a worthy tradeoff for the price. You should seriously consider buying a motherboard with the B350 chipset or above is you intend on overclocking your CPU. Another unpleasant detail about this motherboard is the fact that it only has 2 fan headers, which kinda sucks because people are going to need more than that for even mainstream builds. I highly recommend buying a splitter if fan cooling is important.Overall, great value motherboard for a budget gaming computer. Small form factor keeps cost down and uses less space, which is wonderful for a smaller case. It has been extremely reliable for me.Asus did a good job on this one!

Great motherboard for a CPU mining rig
Bought this motherboard to build a cheap CPU mining rig (XMR, VRSC, etc). Board will support up to 12-core Ryzen CPUs. Throw in 2 sticks of PC3200 RAM and a cheap M2 SSD and you've got a very powerful miner for cheap. When building a CPU mining rig you don't need 6+ PCI-E slots, fancy sound or "super speed ethernet." you need stable. If using a Ryzen CPU you'll need a GPU. Great budget Motherboard
I’ve only had this for a few months but I will update this review if anything changes!So far this motherboard (ASUS Prime A520M-K) has supported all the previous gen ryzen cpus I’ve thrown at it (1500x, 1700x, 1800x, 2200g, 2400g, and the 2600)I bought this mobo for its comparability with future and past CPUs, I think a lot of people are in the same boat because hardware prices are so high right now.Honestly I think this might become my standard for builds as it’s smaller, budget friendly, and comes with all the features I need.Again I don’t have much to say yet but knowing ASUS I wouldn’t be surprised if this thing is still going strong years later.
