Friendly Pacifier Satin Blanket with Detachable Pacifier, Blue Lamb

I can't find words to adequately convey how much I love this product and the company that sells it. My grandson adores his Friendly Pacifier pups! His first came as part of a baby shower gift. After seeing how much he loved it, my daughter ordered a 2nd as a backup. For some unknown reason, the 2nd one was different - similar looking, but very poorly made, not at all the same terrific quality as the original. My daughter assumed the company must have changed manufacturers, and wrote a review to that effect. The company saw the review and contacted her to learn more. It turned out to be one of those glitches that occasionally happens to any of us who runs their own company, where a random sub-par product somehow gets through quality control and sent out to a customer. The folks at First Friends felt terrible, and were AMAZING once they learned what happened. They sent a replacement for the inferior product (and even an extra one along with it!) and during the email conversation with the owners, (moms themselves, so they clearly understand the importance of having only the best for your baby) it was readily apparent they are stellar - absolutely top-notch! - with customer service. The product itself is adorable, and perfect for comforting a young baby, as it's easy for even tiny hands to locate when it falls out of baby's mouth. My daughter and her husband were watching the baby-cam the first time it feel out of his mouth when he was asleep, and it was so cute to see him groggily just feel around and locate the soft Friend and pull it back up to his mouth without even actually awakening. Only parents of young babies can appreciate just how priceless THAT is. :-) I just ordered another one for an upcoming baby shower "gift-topper", and will use them as such from now on, knowing now what a priceless gift this is for babies and parents alike.

I have four of these for my daughter. One at daycare, one at grandma and grandpas, one for bed, and one for the car. However, the Velcro on two of them is complete crap. The hard side is so short it doesn't stick to the soft side at all. It is very frustrating with the binky always falling off or a corner of Velcro poking her in the face when one side comes apart. However, they're such a necessity for her comfort and my sanity, I'll just deal with it and will buy more in the future. I just wish the Velcro was a little higher quality.

After seeing the "My First Friends" product at ToysRUs I went in search of the same product, but a different animal. The cow is so cute, and my 6 mo. old loves her new friends (we ordered 2). The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I felt the description was vague. The store product comes with two pacifiers, upon arrival the farm friend only came with one. But that didn't matter because we were able to attach the Soothie pacifiers she has been using!

Our 2 month old daughter took to this little guy right away! I love this thing... keeps the pacifier in and also allows them to put the paci back into their own mouth easier. No more dropped paci! I loved it so much I bought another one the day after this one arrived to keep in rotation. The best part is the bear detaches from the paci so if you're little one falls asleep you can take the bear off and the paci can still stay in their mouth. So nice for worrisome moms :) I'm going to buy these for any new moms I know.

Much smaller than it appears in the photos . . . still cute - great for an infant but I bought it for my 7-month old grandson and it's a little small for him but he still cudddles it. Just want future purchasers to know it's really small.

My biggest issue with this is the Velcro to hold the pacifier on to the blanket animal is weak and constantly come undone. So I am always having to put it back together. My son loves it though! Very cute and the blanket is super soft.

Other than it being smaller than I expected which is my own fault it does NOT keep the pacifier on. The Velcro just won't hold up to a 5 moth old pulling on it. I have thought about replacing it with snaps...in my spare time!

"Lambie" as we call her is the best night time sleep aid. We've replaced the pacifier with one of our own that we liked better than the one that comes with the product. Now our daughter doesn't use the pacifier but still loves to snuggle her. FANTASTIC item for security blanket!! It's small, cute, washable, and is super soft. I LOVE THIS and so does my daughter. We originally received as a gift and have purchase an additional two items just in case. :)
