Finally got the second set with packaging intact, Whoopee! No such luck with three packs so far.
Good economy locks if you get them unopened. The first set was opened the second had packaging intact so that is acceptable. Some things you could tolerate with some packaging damage but in the case of locks it foils their security function entirely. So don't accept them in that condition.

Strong looking
Better than my master lock at the gym. There’s been break ins but not my locker! 🔐

Look good so far - longevity TBD
I have a few areas outside my house that need to be locked up. The problem for me has been to find locks that can withstand the corrosive salt-water environment at my location. I've had more than one or two get so badly corroded they were - at best - compromised. Either they wouldn't want to open when I needed to open them (without a lot of work), or whether I didn't trust their strength to protect what was locked up due to the ravages of corrosion. When I saw this set of two Yale locks on Amazon, however, I had high hopes for them. First of all, Yale is a trusted brand-name in locks, plus I liked that both locks were keyed alike (one less key I have to carry) and came with a set of THREE keys: so I don't have to worry too much if I lose one or even two of them. When I received them the other day I was impressed by just how HEAVY they are. The laminated metal body is really thick and solid, and it appears that the lock parts at the bottom of the lock are brass, so rust shouldn't be a concern. The shackle is formed from hardened steel to withstand better-than average attempts to break or cut the shackle.I'm not a locksmith, but I've had reasonable success picking locks in and around my property for which I've lost the key for, so that gives me confidence in the lock's integrity also. Maybe it's not "pick-proof", but it seems to me that it's not likely to be pickable by just ANYONE at least. If someone is determined and skilled enough I guess they'll defeat most locks, but it's good to at least minimize the risk pool. I believe that these locks from Yale will do that very well. I'm just hoping that the longevity will be there. That is TBD at this point, but all signs point to quality locks here!

Solid Lock Set
These are a little heavier than I was expecting, but in a good way. Yale makes a great lock and these are no exception.I wanted a durable outdoor lock for my deck boxes and these fit the bill. I wanted a set of 2 so that I could use the same key on both (just a convenience factor) so these are perfect.Nice touch to have a rubberized coating on the bottom to protect the finish of the item they are locking. In my case it didn't matter, but it's a good design feature, nonetheless.Nice locks...glad I chose these!

Great outdoor value locks with good security.
These are solid locks made with stacked laminated steel plates for enhanced drill protection. These have a security rating of 6 which is a reasonable level of protection and will deter most casual attempts to break.Inserting and turning the key is very easy and the lock feel well lubricated. The lock is rust /corrosion resistant and appropriate for outdoor use.I am currently using these as gate locks and they are holding up well and continue to operate easily. I recommend them.

Security At It’s Finest!
I have nothing but praise for these locks. They are heavy and substantial and would not be easy to breach. However, I did want to use one of these for the gate to my yard, but the lock was too big to fit the hole!I was rather disappointed because it the product description, I believe it mentions gates as a place to use the lock. Maybe I should have measured the hole, however, my house and gate are only two years old, so I would have thought a gate would have a standard sized hole.Nevertheless, it’s a great product for heavy duty protection from break-ins etc. I’m sure I’ll find another use for them.

No More Multiple Keys Needed!
We have two rear gates leading out to a public walk area, so we wanted something we could match and not have two different keys. We have been having difficulty finding ones that will not corrode from weather. As it is a wooden fence, they are fairly easy to take off, if needed. I just need to remember to spray a little WD40 on it.
