I used it in my classroom reading center. It is very cute. Everyone that sees it loves it. I am very pleased with my purchase.

My kids love the Very Hungry Caterpillar and this rug is absolutely beautiful in person! It features both the caterpillar and once he transitions into a butterfly. It is so colorful and bright and should hide dirt pretty well. It vacuums well and has a non slip backing so it stays in place without siding around. It’s a bit bigger than I thought it would be but it fits my kids’ bedroom perfectly and they love it! It adds so much brightness and color, it is like a giant page right out of the book. It is not the softest rug I’ve felt but it’s perfect for my kids to play on and it technically is machine washable if you can find a way to fit it into a washing machine. Overall, it’s a great rug for any kids’ space.

This is a cute rug. And it’s an excellent, large room size. It’s bound on all sides in green stitching. The print and colors cover the whole rug. The back is completely non- skid. It lays flat. The pile is soft to the touch, but springs back. It doesn’t mat. It’s a great print with the Hungry Caterpillar in the correct colors from the story. The rug adds a playful touch to the room where I keep my grandkids toys when they visit.

I absolutely love the design on this rug. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a classic book that I've used in my preschool classroom and now with my toddler. The rug is very big and exactly what I wanted for the kid's room. My toddler loves it and goes around pointing out what's on the rug. The plastic wrapping came right off but there are little plastic pieces (like on clothing for pricing) which hold the rug closed. Please be careful when removing. I yanked and ended up PULLING some of the rug weave! I like the way this rug feels under my feet. There's a little cush there. The rug is flat making it easier to clean. Our robot vacuum goes over it with no problem. I ordered the 6'x9.5' rug. It is so large, I'm never going to attempt putting it in any washing machine. However, I imagine it would clean well with a carpet cleaner. I haven't needed to do this yet.

I got the Eric Carle The Very Hungry Caterpillar Elementary Sun Scene Machine Washable Kids Area Rug, Blue/Green, 6'6"x9'5". As an Eric Carle fan, I love this rug. The colors are bright and vibrant and it looks absolutely beautiful. It really livens up a room.The 6'6" x 9'5" size is, of course, quite large. While this rug is machine washable, I'm not sure where I would take it to wash it since it definitely won't fit in my washing machine.The rug has a nice non-slip backing, although a rubber mat can be used beneath it to make sure it really doesn't move. It came rolled, but laid nice and flat almost as soon as I unrolled it.This is a low-pile rug, which makes it easier for me to vacuum. Unfortunately, it isn't soft at all. That's the biggest drawback - this rug is perfect for a playroom, but not super comfortable to sit or lay on. (My dog doesn't mind it, however.)This is a big, beautiful rug that makes a real statement. It makes me smile whenever I see it.

Very nice large size rug with a non-slip backing. It would work perfect for a daycare, classroom setting, playroom, or bedroom. Cute print with bright colors adds a cheerful touch to any room. I like the low pile it is easy to keep clean and not as much of a tripping hazard.

It's pretty and bright.The size is accurate.Kid messes come up with a wet cloth.The price is right for a rug we want to last until the our preschooler girls are in the upper elementary grades and should last that long.

This is a beautiful rug that I have added in our children’s playroom. When I unrolled the rug it came out nice and flat. There was no needing to re-roll it the other way just to get it straight. It’s a rather large rug and it fits perfectly in the room. It has a nice backing so it doesn’t slip and the colorful pictures are beautiful. My children and I we just love butterflies and we love Eric Carle. I highly recommend it.
