Colder PLCD42004 Acetal Tube Fitting, Insert, Shutoff, Panel Mount, 1/4" Insert x 1/4"Barb

Item works well and the 1/4" insert IS compatible with the Eagle H550 beer gas disconnect pieces. I wanted an extra single fitting and the H550 is only sold with both parts together on Amazon.

The barb side of the fitting I received is 1/4 but the insert side is closer to 7/16. It did not fit in my female receptacle at all. I tried to make a picture to show my female receptacle which is 1/4 and the fitting I received the diameter is larger. I wish there were instructions on what to measure. My receptacle measures close to 1/4 but the fitting measure closer to .5
