This is a wonderful tried and tested book for one with a passion for the biochemistry of human life.It is the 32 nd edition, and I used it first in medical school in 1970. I am finishing it now for the second time.The explanations are clear, and the biochemical pathways are illuminated in a different way than the traditional detailed textbooks. Instead of finding myself dizzy with the flow and ebb of tiny dots to represent electrons, this text just shades the relevant atoms for change; it makes the understanding of metabolic changes easy to understand. Superior to the south asian edition as has more data and better refine but doubtful as to wether youll be able to keep up with it from an examination point of view , speaking from the pov of an indian M.B.B.S. student , still worth a look guess where there is a will there is a way
