HOW TO OPEN COIN
When you order for less than $10 , tax not included quit belly aching. Put a small magnet on the backside to open coin it helps. Then put rubber O-ring near the bottom of open area where it closes, not the top and close. This will help open the coin for next use. Don't expect this to last to long its only fun for short usage. Need to know more ask the Holy Spirit he gave me this answer.

For what I paid, it was actually really good.
Yes there is a dent in the cheek but magic is all about misdirection. Just cover it with your finger. Plus, from my experience even the average American like me can remember what a 50 cent piece looks like... And I am old. I really appreciated David's comment about using a magnet to open it. Don't pry it with your finger. Also look for the seam on the back. The instructions that came with it said it would be the tail but it was on the side for me. For what I paid, it was worth it. I took one star away for the dent in the cheek and the instructions but overall I am happy with it. It was also better looking in person than the image here that made it look tarnished.

Absolute garbage
Total piece of junk...doesn't remotely look like a half dollar...big indentation in Kennedy's face...no instructions...no way to open it short of prying the back open with a knife...this is a TOTAL RIPOFF

Poor quality construction
Poor quality construction as the two pieces are nested VERY tightly and it is extremely difficult to open up to show "two" coins. Unusable.
