Several of the crystals arrived broken. Fortunately extra crystals were sent and while they don't look as nice as the ones that were professionally strung they do make a suitable replacement. I do think the crystals are nice quality although some of them are slightly damaged. From a distance you can't tell.Assembly was straightforward - this part was a lot of fun!Most of the difficulty with this chandelier came with the installation. Once the branches are installed in the light fixture, it becomes a delicate object. Ideally you would hang it quickly and be done - however, that relies on having a modern junction box with screws that match the location of the hardware in the fixture. Our ceiling was last updated in the 60s and has a junction box with a hickey. Unfortunately the hickey was too small for the hole in the hardware provided. We resolved this by buying a modern hickey (standard US size). Unfortunately this hickey also did not fit the hardware provided (this one was too big). At this point we had to replace all the hardware for installation and were no longer able to use the end caps provided with the chandelier. Luckily we were able to buy black screw caps at the hardware store but what should have been an hour installation became a 2 day project with multiple trips to the hardware store. Thankfully we found a way to set the chandelier on its side during all of this.

This is a beautiful real crystal/glass chandelier and was fairly easy to install. My husband (a guy that is super handy and knowledgeable, but typical in that he "doesn't need no stinking assembly instructions") put it up in about 40 minutes -- with only a couple of cuss words, so, it went well. Probably good that he does know about hanging lights/electrical because the instructions could be more detailed and thorough. (I took a peek). One thing my husband said that he would have done differently was screw in the upper "limbs" first, then the lower. He had trouble getting his hand, and the screw, in the area it was supposed to go because the lower limbs got in the way a little. But other than that, things went smoothly and most importantly, I'm in love! This lovely piece looks so good in the bedroom and adds that bit of glamour and sparkle. The seven bulbs are very adequate with regard to lighting the area -- in fact, they are very bright, completely lighting my 18' by 20' area well enough without any other lamps on. I have mine on a dimmer switch, and usually am satisfied with it about 50% brightness (indicated in photos). The clear bulbs are very nicely hidden when the lights are off. Great price point, and well-packaged -- no broken anything. Yes!!

This light was very hard to install and directions weren't very good but once installed, looks great.

Good little entrance light, great in a well lit room

This is beautiful, and makes the room feel airy and fresh with a little sparkle. I prefer the black (over gold) for a newer look, snd have a black lamp shade in my living room. I read the reviews and anticipated a difficult install but Not true. It is perfectly wrapped, each arm, for protections. All the crystals are already attached, except for the crystal ball which takes 10 seconds. Yes, each arm has a spit to set in and tighten. As a lady, I could do that. Just needed an electrician to attach. (I called Angies list), everything went great, and I LOVE IT. Also, I have the ceiling mount large ones in the living room part, goes so well together, Get this knowing it is a couple inches less diameter, but with 7 bulbs, adjustable angle on each one, more than enough light, actually I use a dimmer always.

Installation and assembly was fairly easy. It gives off a decent amount of light. I can read by it and find things in the chest there. One minor issue is the arms that hold the crystals don't stay tightened very well. My husband had to do something extra to keep them from leaning. I do not reach out to the company because I felt like its not that big of a deal. Its pretty and very functional.

We put one in our Bedroom hallway and one in our Main bathroom.They are made very well and are very easy to install.There definitely a great value for the money!

We just remodeled our bathroom and needed a light above the tub. This chandelier is the perfect size and look we were going for. Love it!!!

I very much like this ceiling fixture, but one of the crystals was missing off a branch, and in order to replace it, weused a spare one, but had to take apart the branch (tiny nails) in order to place it on the branch.
