I already had a couple of ponchos but this is unique because the "3 in 1 Black" version is matte black on one side and silver-ish grey on the other!It features a hood with a brim that supports itself yet readily folds, a front pocket, grommets at 4 corners, snaps (not Velcro) along both sides and a drawstring to close the hood. This last had loose threads and wasn't smooth functioning, but other than that quality is very good.I will update my review after testing whether the double-sided poncho is reversible and offers any advantage in controlling thermal radiation.Excellent value and unique multifunction potential make this poncho stand out from the pack! Highly recommended.

Was worried about getting this with how little review it had but it looks pretty great I plan on using this for my bwca trip coming up to save on weight instead of using a rain suit and this saved me a pound and a half so as long as it holds up it should work pretty good and that this might work as a under quilt protector for my hammock but we will see I figured out that it can fit into its front pocket and be velcro’d shut but it is a tight squeeze I love that this has sleeves and that it goes down to the knees I wish it was a rip stop material but for the price it is pretty good if this holds up after my trip I will 5 star it

On a recent hiking trip in Maryland, my son and I used these. These ponchos did an excellent job of keeping ourselves and our equipment dry when we were attacked by a severe thunderstorm. I used some cord to tie the poncho to the top of my tent as an additional rain fly because the rainproofing on my tent was failing. versatile, practical, lightweight, and folds up very little. fantastic stuff

Pleasantly surprised at quality of the poncho. Needed something that packs down small for travel but substantial enough for heavy rains. At 5'2 it somewhat overwhelms me but I definitely think it will keep me dry. The stuff sak is ample size to get poncho back in without a struggle.

Used this on the AT and was great over top my backpack. Then a few weeks later used it outside my tent as a foyer to put my muddy shoes on more as a tarp rather than a raincoat. I would not put it in the washing machine though . I did and the seals are coming off . Haven’t used it since to know how that will affect it

Hooded rain poncho I live in Florida so it rains all the time and I am tired of gettin the car soaked so now I can keep nice and dry very nice material very heavy duty and price well and well worth the money

I interpreted the photo and video as the product being more sturdy. I will NOT take it on my hiking trip, but will keep in my car.
