One expects to pay a lot of money for a good comb that doesn't break easily or scratch the scalp.But one doesn't have to pay a lot of money to find a good comb. This one is seven inches long, so you probably won't be carrying it in your pocket. It is plain, black plastic with "Uppercut Deluxe" stamped on the side. The teeth are half thick, half fine, and square shaped, with a slight taper that runs straight through the center. The ends of the teeth are smoothed and rounded, and will not scratch the scalp. It is marketed as a men's comb, but hair is hair; it works with women's hair, too.It's not much to look at, but runs through hair smoothly, and is pretty sturdy. If you're going to buy a cheap comb, buy this one. I feel like I won the styling tools lottery with this purchase!

This comb is light weight and fits right in your pocket. You can use it forwards and backwards, you can part your hair, style it, or just comb it regular. It has a sleek aerodynamic design and glossy lettering on the side. The weight is perfect for an average strength arm yet it is durable and light. I highly recommend this comb.

I bought this comb for my husband. It is very sturdy and I'm sure it will last a long time. The teeth are not very sharp, so it won't scratch the scalp. I've been wanting to buy a better comb for him and throw away all of the 30 dollar store combs we have. This is the comb I've been waiting for.

Solid comb. Only thing is that the uppercut deluxe logo fades away in a couple days... But that's really not a big deal. I would buy this again.

I'm pretty sure it's a knock-off brand, as the uppercut lettering instantly wiped off after a couple uses. The comb itself is nice, but if you're buying it for the brand or as a "status symbol", you may be getting a bad deal. It's still a sturdy comb though.

The uppercut logo rubs off after a few days of being in my pocket. But it's a great comb for the price! A+
