Kiss the Sky: ♥♥♥♥♥ 6+ Je t'aime Stars ♥♥♥♥♥ Pure Perfection!!!
**Complimentary copy kindly gifted by the authors**♥♥♥♥♥ 6+ Je t'aime Stars ♥♥♥♥♥Kiss The Sky by Krista & Becca Ritchie is a spin-off of the Addicted Series and can be read as a standalone but I highly encourage and recommend everyone to read the series first. Trust me, you would not be disappointed in reading the Addicted Series since I'm beyond addicted and love this series so hard. This is one series and spin-off where I truly love love all the characters!!! <3 <3 To say I was beyond excited when I found out the Ritchie sisters were doing a spin-off focusing on Connor and Rose is an understatement, I was f#%*&ing jumping up and down for joy and maybe there was a little happy dance thrown into the mix. HAHA!! So when I saw an ARC of Kiss the Sky appeared in my email inbox from the Ritchie sisters, I knew for sure without a doubt that this book was going to be devoured in one sitting. Being avid fans of the Ritchie sisters, I knew this book would be nothing but the best and I can 100% say that they did not disappoint me. I love love this book so hard!!!As I mentioned earlier, I highly encourage and recommend everyone to read the series first since it would give you a better insight on all the characters of the Addicted Series. (Lily, Loren, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke) Kiss the Sky picks off where it last left off on Addicted For Now, with the backlash of the news of Lo and Lily's addiction. The image of Lily Calloway has been tarnished by the media since they are now aware of her sex addictions hence bringing down the stocks of Fizzle Corporation and Calloway Couture. So what does big sis, Rose do..she takes charge and tries to revamp the image of her family when a TV production company proposes a REALITY TV show that will focus on our beloved characters of Lily, Lo, Rose Connor, Daisy and Ryke..If you are a pop culture junkie like myself, then you should be aware of an MTV show called The REAL WORLD. If not, then I would suggest you go YouTube a Real World episode to get an idea of what the show is about. (As someone who used to watch the show, the older seasons were prolly the best since the new ones are just blah blah) Anyways, let me refresh your memory on the opening lines of THE REAL WORLD: "This is the true story... of seven strangers... picked to live in a house...work together and have their lives taped... to find out what happens... when people stop being polite... and start getting real...The Real World" Sounds familiar, right??!! Well instead of six strangers living together in one house, how about the gang of the Addicted series living together in one household for six months and have their lives taped. Yes, you got it right!! Lily, the sex addict;Loren, the alcoholic; Rose, the virgin; Connor, the smarta$*; Daisy, the daredevil; and Ryke, the jacka*$. Didn't I say it's like the Real World and they had seven people living together.... well readers let me introduced you to the seventh roommate, Scott Van Wright! Since production labeled everyone, Scott is brought into the mix to stir up some trouble and bring in the ratings for the show. Scott is labeled as the Heartthrob but in my opinion he should be labeled as the D-bag.Reality TV...is anything reality when scenes and words are edited out and where production plans out events and trips. Rose, who is fully aware of what this TV show would mean to her fashion life and family's image, she goes full steam ahead. With cameras placed everywhere around the house, a communal bathroom, microphones attached to them and an ass of a producer/roommate Scott lingering around..nothing is safe and secret!! So let the chaos and craziness begin!! The only off place where the cameras are not allowed to film is in their bedrooms and bathroom. As a family who likes their privacy, things are about to get REAL when viewers are watching and judging them. There is one thing you must know about Rose Calloway, you don't mess with her family. I can simply describe her as a pitbull, who has no problem letting you know her wrath so you don't want to cross that line especially when it comes to her sisters, Lily and Daisy. Being an independent and strong-willed woman, only one man can stand up to Rose Calloway and that is no other than her boyfriend, Richard Connor Cobalt. If you thought Lily and Lo are the only couple who can worm their way into your hearts, then I must inform you, Rose and Connor gives them a run for their money. Without a doubt, I think they also earned the title to be called OTP (One True Pairing). <3 Being an avid fan of Lo and Ryke, I can say that I have also fallen in love with Connor. In Kiss the Sky, my outlook on Connor has totally changed. What can I say about Connor Cobalt, he is wealthy, intelligent, a smarta**, a CEO in training, and the other half of Rose Calloway. But behind the smartass, lies a man who loves Rose Calloway for who she is.. He is the perfect balance to Rose's strong personality since he continues to challenge her.Rose and Connor's chemistry is just amazeballs!! I freaking adore this couple so much from their playful witty banters, talks, games and of course their conversations in French!!! Parlez-vous français? Yes, you heard me right!! Connor and Rose likes to speak in French when they want to have private conversation. Let me just tell you, whenever Connor speaks French to Rose, he has no problem reminding her that she is tu es à moi (he is hers aka Translation: you're mine). What I love about this couple is how playful they are. Readers finally get to see this new side to Rose and Connor. I think its freaking adorable that they quote famous literature, poets, and writers. And their playful side comes out when they play F*$%*, Marry, Kill association game.. As for the sexual chemistry, HOLY HELL and WOW!!! All I can say is that Connor does not fail in igniting your Kindle. Be prepared to sigh and swoon for Connor Cobalt. The man really knows what he wants and that is Rose Calloway. If I can shout out to the mountains to go read Kiss the Sky and the Addicted series, then I would happily do it because that's how much I LOVE these books and the authors!! I truly believe Krista and Becca Ritchie, are f*&#*ing talented and brilliant. They were able to write and introduce us to characters that everyone will fall in love with. Behind all the crazy shenanigans, Lily, Lo, Rose, Connor, Daisy, and Ryke are just f&%**ing perfection. They are real honest raw characters who all have flaws. Besides having awesome characters in their books, Krista and Becca's story-lines are fresh and unique. The Ritchie sisters are able to incorporate modern and pop culture. To end my review and rave of Kiss the Sky, let me end it with this tagline:"This is the true story... of six friends: Lily, Lo, Rose, Connor, Daisy and Ryke... picked to live in a house...work together and have their lives taped... to find out what happens... when people stop being polite... and start getting addicted...Kiss the Sky"What can I say that I haven't reiterate and emphasize, oh yeah go READ THIS BOOK!!! IT IS A MUST READ AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!On that note, my countdown for Hothouse Flower begins!!!! Can it be March already? I seriously can't wait for Ryke and Daisy's story since I seriously fell in love with them in Ricochet. For all you Ryke and Daisy fans, there are plenty of Ryke of Daisy interactions.. **squeal**

One of the most ADDICTED series I have ever read!!!
WOW. WOW. W-O-W.This is one of the most addictive series I have EVER read!! And it just keeps on getting better and better. Krista & Becca Ritchie have outdone themselves. Every single word was brilliant. The Addicted series is without a doubt one of THE best New Adult romance series out there. It has everything in spades -- fantastic writing, an original plot line, and characters you can't help but fall in love with.READ THESE BOOKS, GUYS!!!!!!I'll be honest. It took me a long time to be able to process my thoughts on this book into actual words. For the first several hours after reading, the only thing running through my mind was along the lines of... ZOMGTHESEBOOKSAMAZINGYOUALLHAVETOREADTHEMNOWWWWWW!!! ... but clearly, I needed to come up with something better than that so here goes:Virgin. Sex addict. Daredevil. Alcoholic. Smarta$s. Jacka$s.In the first three books of this series, we were introduced to Lily & Lo as the main couple, but also got to know Ryke & Daisy, and Connor & Rose as side characters, and in Kiss The Sky, the spotlight was turned onto Connor and Rose. I'd been looking forward to their story ever since I first met them. Kiss The Sky was easily one of my most highly anticipated book releases and it blew me away!!!In the aftermath of the scandal that went public at the end of last book, Rose needed to find a way to paint her family in a better light or risk losing her business, Calloway Couture, and everything that she'd worked for. So she decided to sign her and her five friends up to star in a reality TV show. This meant that Lily, Lo, Daisy, Ryke, and her and Connor would be living together and filmed for 6 months by three cameramen who followed them around day and night."6 people + 6 months + 3 cameramen + 1 reality show = infinite drama. I've done the math."While all six friends featured heavily in this story, the main focus of this book was on Rose and Connor. We saw everything through their eyes. We saw what happened in their past that shaped them into the people they were now, we saw what drove them, and what scared them, and what they wanted most. Honestly, it was absolutely fascinating to see the world through their perspective, especially the way they saw each other. Connor understood Rose in a way that no one else did. He saw through her walls and right into her heart. Rose saw the real him too but...could only see as much of him as he chose to show to the world. Despite caring deeply for her, he found it hard to express his true feelings in so many words. But he and Rose somehow just worked perfectly together. It was so fun to see them verbally spar back and forth. They were competitive, but in the best way. They were such a unique pair. Connor was the only guy who'd ever been able to truly handle Rose without either getting overruled or turned away. He was neither stronger nor weaker than her. He was her perfect match."I'm not the hero.I'm the king to Rose's queen."But here was the twist to their relationship -- they were equals on every level, except sex. Rose was a genius, a strong, confident woman in charge of her world, but she was also a virgin in completely over her head because in this one respect, Connor had a definite upper hand. Luckily though, being the amazing person that he was, he never once pushed her beyond her comfort zone. I loved the way he waited for her and was endlessly patient. It made me melt. He knew all along what she wanted but was willing to wait for her to realize it herself..... And ho-ly HOTNESS, guys!! I have to say that while I didn't see it coming in the previous books, there was a kinky twist to Connor that just fit his personality so perfectly and had me fanning myself for pages on end.In this book, they had so much to deal with -- their relationship, Lily & Lo's relationship (and the aftermath of the events of the first books), how her business was doing, etc -- all of this on it's own would have been a lot of it's own but add in a reality show to the mix -- where every single moment of their lives was caught on film and broadcasted to the world by a producer whose apparent life's mission was just to mess with them -- and you have a situation brimming with tension, angst and heightened emotion.Overall, this series truly has one of THE best ensemble casts I've ever read. The character dymaics are just GOLD and the dialogue is fantastic. Every little interaction between the cast just shone. The WRITING was fantastic. I adore these authors' style. It's smart, snappy and just draws you IN. There is not a single wasted word and I absolutely loved it. I swear, half my book is highlighted. The whole story was built on this complex network of all the entwined relationships -- some were new, some were built over years, some were bonded by blood, and others were bonded by love. Everything was so multi-layered, and there were so many stories happening at once that were all connected, all linked. It was fascinating. Exciting. Addicting. Compelling. It was romantic. Steamy. Emotional. Beautiful. But, just as with the first books in the series, I have to applaud the authors because never once did I feel like anything went overboard. Every single event, every piece of drama made perfect sense for the story. It fit. No eye-rolling or Kindle-throwing. The entire story was well paced and meticulously planned out.I love getting lost in these characters' world and I absolutely love each one of these main characters. I love their insecurities, flaws, and strengths. I love how despite having their misunderstanding and disagreements within each other, they are always united against an outside threat. They support each other, have each others' back. They protect each other.Without a doubt, this is one of the most addictive series I have ever read. I loved every single word and read this book as slowly as I could trying to make the story last as long as possible. I didn't want it to end. Some books are worth losing sleep over. This is one of those. The Addicted series truly stands out in the New Adult romance world. Krista and Becca Ritchie keep raising the bar. This is one of those series that started out strong, and just keeps getting stronger. It's truly one-of a kind. There is nothing else even remotely close to this out out there. THIS is a series to watch for.Rating: 5 stars!!!

Kiss The Sky
Do you think you should be able to read a spin off series without reading the original? The Calloway Sisters is the spin-off series from Krista & Becca Ritchie's Addicted series. Originally I thought Calloway Sisters came first however I was kindly told I was wrong. That being said I still think you should be able to read a spin-off series without having read the original series but I'm guessing I would have gotten on a lot better with this book had I started this in the right place.I always felt like I was on the back foot. I didn't feel like I really understood these characters as much as I should because I was missing out on the beginning of their relationship. They had an unconventional relationship with Connor convinced he wasn't and wouldn't fall in love and Rose being ok with that. I felt they had really great arcs but I just felt like I was always missing out on really understanding their relationship and their connection.I don't know if I would have felt different had I started with the right series but I never really fancied the Addicted series so I guess my journey with this series is over.

I DIDN’T FINISH!!!
First, I want to start off by saying I didn’t finish this book, so feel free to disregard my review.I refuse to say that this was a super bad book because it wasn’t. I just couldn’t get into it. I couldn’t connect with the characters. I found the heroine very selfish and I think the Hero was too accepting of her behaviour. I’m a strong believer in ‘if you’re not ready to be in a relationship, then don’t be in one’ and I strongly believe that she wasn’t ready to be in a relationship. Like I said I didn’t finish, I just about got to the halfway mark and didn’t have the patience for her selfishness. I also found it a bit stressful and hectic.Second, this book is a slow burn romance, so if that’s something you enjoy then perhaps this is more your kind of book.Thirdly, I did enjoy aspects of this book. Like the humour between the hero and the heroine as well as the general humour of the book. I found myself laughing quite a few times. I do like the writing style of the writer, she does know how to end a chapter with a BANG! so I couldn’t rate this lower than 3 stars. I feel like her books are meant for a different type of reader.

A plotline that is in equal parts insane and heartwarming.
Much like a Reality Show Kiss the Sky has a hurricane plotline filled with drama and comedy. However, underneath the light (and somewhat crazy) tone there's raw emotion and important debates on sexuality, addiction, exposure, ego and acceptance. And of course, I think it's utterly impossible to read this story and not fall heads of heels for (Richard) Conor Cobalt. He's pretty much the ultimate perfect book boyfriend, and I'm certain he will continue to enchant readers everywhere for many years to come.

I need more from Connor Cobalt!!!
Holy crap, this book is so freaking amazing. I will try to contain myself in my review but I have to warn you now, I am seriously on a book high but I'm also feeling the inevitable book hangover now that I've finished reading Kiss the Sky.Throughout this book, I kept posting how much I am in love and lust with Connor and by the end I just wanted to have his babies!!!!***“I’ve wanted so many things in life,” he says softly, “but you’re the one that has meant the most to me.” Translation: I love you.***I have been swept away by the Addicted series and Lo and Lily's journey through their recovery from their respective addictions but I have secretly been waiting to get my hands on Rose and Connor's story the most. These books are so cleverly written and have the right balance of humour, hot sex, trauma and everyday life. I know some people get a bit obsessed with books which include a twenty something year old virgin in them but this story is so perfectly written that it works well. This story is based around the three Calloway sisters, as well as Connor, Lo and Ryke, as they film a six month long reality show in the hope to address the ongoing fallout following the unfortunate way Lily and Lo’s addictions were exposed. As the family’s companies suffer as a result of the sex and alcohol scandal, Rose is determined to try to try to turn around the lives of all those involved.Turning to ex-boyfriend Scott, Rose unwittingly enters the viper’s nest by signing a contract with him to produce their reality show. Scott becomes the catalyst to everything which goes wrong in their lives from this point forward and Rose and Connor in particular find themselves the target of his animosity. As expected, the banter between Connor and Rose continues in this story but slowly Rose’s thorns retract and Connor captures her heart so thoroughly that the sparks literally fly off the pages and by the end of their European adventure, I was a complete and utter mess and declaring my undying love for Connor! In this book you get to see a completely different side of Connor which literally caused me to fall apart!***He stares at me deeply, whispering, “Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.” One of my favorite quotes. I turn a fraction, just enough so that our lips don’t suddenly collide. “Shakespeare,” I breathe.***Connor aside, I also love Lo’s and Ryke’s personalities and I can’t wait for more of Ryke and Daisy’s inevitable story.Krista and Becca Ritchie really need to be praised for a superbly written set of stories which have totally consumed me.Reviewed on behalf of Jezabell Girl & Friends…

The reality of it all
Such a great story, absolutely loved it, it's a must read. Both Conned & Rose are strong independent people , but they both have a lot of pressure on their shoulders .Rose's business starts to go down when her sister Lily's sex addiction is all over the media. Rose decides to do a reality show , but she has sold herself to the devil, & his name is Scott. The show has Rose, Conner, Lily, her fiance Loren, Rose's youngest sister Daisy, & Loren's half brother Ryke.Scott puts himself in the show & always exits it to make him look good & the others bad.So much happens in this story, it is none stop , there is never a dull moment .Scott tries to break everyone but what he does only makes them stronger
