As a store cupboard regular
I bought the product as a store cupboard regular because I and my husband like Thai food very much.

Not good!
It is mixed with garam masala and it ruins the taste of this. Way overpriced for what it is.

Lovely in curries
I mix this with mustard powder, ground fenugreek, oil and chilli powder and add it to lentil based curry. Lovely flavour!

EDIT: This is my second order of this Chutney and it's absolutely wonderful, as has a well-balanced flavour. This chutney is so goooood! Wish I could give 10 stars1 - I love Rani products - they're always fresh and very flavourful. I have 6 of their spices and spice masalas (Masala means spice mixes)I can recommend all Rani products highly!

My fave tamarind paste
Keeps very well in the fridge, it's never gone bad on me. Makes excellent date/tamarind chutney.

Can’t return or refund
Came with the seal broken and cover wasn’t on all the way. Leaked all over the box with a sticky mess. When I tried to get a refund it states that it’s not eligible for refund/return.UPDATE: I had someone contact me about this and they sent me a new one. Lots of hoops to jump through for one small item, but I’m happy to say that they made it right. Making some mezcalitas with it tonight which is what I had ordered it for the first time. Cheers
