I am pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of this product. Luckily I haven’t had to use it(them), but I am confident if the need arises they will help me protect myself from an assault.

I've had many of these pens. Very durable and last a long time. Keep a eye on them people always try to steal mine.

I really like the pens, with exception that if you accidentally drop them, ball point first, on a hard surface, it ruins the entire pen. I’ve managed to drop two of them, out of the five that I have.I thought that I would pick it up after I dropped it, and maybe the ink refill would be damaged, which I was prepared for.This was not the case.When you drop the pen, ball point first, it’s heavy enough that it drives refill up into the mechanism that raises and lowers the ball point, thereby jamming the mechanism, so it no longer works, doesn’t raise or lower the ball point.Again, I do like the pen though.One other feature that you need to be careful with is the point on the top, designed to break glass. It has a very sharp point on it. It will “leave a mark, potentially breaking the skin”, if you inadvertently run your skin along it.

Out of the three pens delivered, one was missing the sharp silver point at the top. Other than that, they’re fine.

This was a great gift. Use the pen all the time and it is an extra way to protect yourself.

I tried to change the ink cartridge and the pen would not open. The twist for the pen had to be forced to open and it breaks the twist operator that brings out the pen to write with. Now the pen just turns and won't lower the pen so you can write with it. The pen was good for the short time it lasted.

These are very comfortable pens to write with. The ink cartridges seem to last a good long time and you get spares. What's not to like?" Especially at this price.
