Bionic Bird Avitron v2.0

This arrived promptly and in terrific shape for a Christmas gift for my daughter - who is a aerospace engineer and fighter pilot in the Navy. Was meant to be a fun item to fly inside and outside the house for a person with aerodynamic experience, but was very disappointing when it didn't even stay aloft long enough to make that first turn. Did not even stay aloft. With her skill and our suggestion, we determined the receiver within the bird was not getting the signal due to interference, disconnection or just malfunction from the factory. Everything else about the Bird was in good shape. After contacting the company that made this, they told her to try shaking the bird and retry. . . .This did nothing. My daughter is disappointed and has yet to contact them again, knowing she'll have to send it to Germany where they will find the problem and likely send another as a replacement
