Vgate iCar2 Bluetooth OBD II (ARM Based) Auto Diagnostic Tool with Power Switch for Android Devices (White-Orange)

Good decision to purchase. I have solved all the problems. After fitting and studying the fault code of ecm of car. Like O2 sensor problem,Engine speed sensor problem, engine idling problems. And other sensors issue. Worth every penny. Before it I have visited so many mechanic to solve problem but no one could solve it's. But with the help of the obd2 scanner I came to know the exact fault and solved my self.

It works! Here is a summary:Device Vgate iCar2 bluetoothCar: Maruti/Suzuki Ciaz (2014).Android App: Bosch Fun2drive. Device makers suggested Torque, but I opted for bosch app because it required bare minimum permissions from phone, unlike torque which wanted to take over everything on my phone. In addition, bosch app is free and no advt.Plugged in the device, and follow the instructions that came along with it. I've seen other reviewers complain about dashboard indicators going crazy with similar devices. This one is sane. Infact, you can plug it in and forget about it. Only drawback I can think of is - the bluetooth PIN is a generic 4 digit number and you can't change it. In principle, anyone within 5-10 meters of your car can connect and view your car's data.Tail piece: ask google for "BMW secure key theft using OBD" to get an idea about what an OBD port can do :)

Well, it does what it mean to be.Power saving mode is working fine, that is, device will get turn off when engine is off (in some 30min or so). That means, you can keep the device connected to the obd port permanently. It was not heating up on prolonged usage too, so I hope it won't create any related short circuit.Torque lite is a great app, soon I will upgrade to Pro.Con: Torque is not available for ios.If someone knows about any app for ios, please comment here.

This product arrived on time,but no proper instructions were provided with it..Secondly i just diagnosed my car,it only shows few error codes,even some errors occured in dashboard are not even diagnosed by this obd..And acceleration,mileage and many other features are not even working if you connevt through any app,i also just came to know that this is not a great tool for diagnosing at least not for my car..I regret buying this product..

I coordinated with the seller. The device didn't work with my Hyundai santro xing 2011 edition. The device couldn't connect to the ECU of my car. The Torque application & Car scanner was connecting to the device but device couldn't connect to the ECU. Returned to the seller after communicating the problem to the seller.
