I have Directv and if not for the price I would be 100% happy with it
I tried different types, just out of curiosity. I have Directv and if not for the price I would be 100% happy with it. Back to antenna. Not one antenna before this one could get stable signal for all my local alphabet channels. This one does. I live in Fremont and it is approx. 35 miles from the tower in SanFran. Seems this type is kind of breakthrough in antenna design. I have seen several similar antennas on the internet, but I am not in a business of evaluation, just a consumer.Oh, forgot one negative remark. The length of the cable from amplifier is 6'', so the amp must be placed next to TV. I used the extension coax cable. Still 5 stars.

Might not get all channels though listed in Station Reception
9/5/2018 - amplifier is not working now.Couldnt see the listed channels even with the booster and within the 35 mile range. I have checked the channels frequency availability but not able to receive them as listed.Have tried setting up on Windows and different locations as well. But still the same. Additionally, cloudy skies or haze hinders the reception to some extent,.If it is raining, then we might not receive the channels at all. However 10 -15 channels are for sure.

Super easy install
This product was super easy to install and to do auto scan. My closest local antenna for local news stations is 5 miles away. I am having a problem keeping the signal steady. It's there, but bleeps in and out. Mind you these were all cloudy days and I don't know if that is part of the problem? It's in a window facing East/SE.

Bought this thinking that it would be easier than an ...
Bought this thinking that it would be easier than an outside roof mount antenna. It doesn't work well at all. I have it attached to an outside wall window and it gets maybe 1 station and that is iffy. I researched how many stations are within a 50 mile radius from my home and I should be receiving at least 65 channels and even more within a 100 mile radius. The outside mount antenna would have been cheaper!

Not recommended. It says 50-100 miles on the listing but the package clearly says 50 miles. I only received UHF channels as well. I returned it.I purchased a different Digital Antenna for a Lakehouse prior to this purchase. When I tried it here I received over 31 channels when I connect to it. I was hoping this antenna would work but not even close I only received 6 channels and all were UHF.

Very pleased.
We "cut the cable" and needed a antenna to receive our local stations. This unit did the trick. We do not live in a metropolitan area.

Got it and install it right away!Places it (as you can see behind my tv)It's very light weighted and slim! Got 3 stickers on the back (+ 2 small stickers for future use)Easy to install,simply connect to antenna tv and search for channelsAs you can see from the photo it found almost 50 channels but actually it was close to 100!!The quality is HD in most of the channels and it's completely free!Highly recommended!!!!

Works great, short coax cable
Works great. I put the antenna in the window and hooked up the cable to my TV. My only complaint is the coax cable cord is short. On my tv, the converter can't touch the table so it was hanging from the coax port. This can cause damage to the port over time, so I used command strips to put a hook on the back of the TV to take the hanging weight off of the coax port.
