I was going to order this Tulle but decided not to because we needed black and white for our New Year's Eve party and I was working from a budget. The colors we did get were perfect but I'm not sure about this metallic. Sorry. Debbie K.

I wouldn't, Its for decorative purposes only. It is netted and has holes in it so it wouldn't be a good conductor of heat. The Drop Cloth fabric that you would lay down for painting would work well for what you are trying to do.
