Not shaped for purpose
The product is not shaped well to design for the intended purpose. There is so much wide gap between the vessel and this flame guard, that it cannot do the job of guarding the flame from breeze or wind. And the three sharp edged toothed saw like vessel holders inside the guard can do more harm to the hands while handling/washing, that lending any support to vessel.

The product is worth trying
This product is useful in saving heat which is normally wasted due to high flame of the gas. Only care while using, is to place it such that it does not topple. Keep it erect or slots fixed on the hinge of the gas stove (if it there) else it will topple and may create injuries.
