I’m a little torn on this review but ended up giving it a little more, if I could I would rate it at 3.5.Pro: fantastic quality (metal build) and design and does the job wellCon: putting it on is a pain to get it aligned the way it should be.They should do away with the tightner and make it a screw on.

I have Hoage rectangular hoods on my other 3 lenses and they are great - I can only recommended them. Much more compact and has the feel of quality compared to the bits of plastic delivered as standard with lenses. The 72mm works great on my Fujinon 16-80 but not with my new 10-24. It simply crops from 10 to about 13mm. Shame, I don't know what to do except go back to the cheap plastic.

Auf der Suche nach einem Ersatz für die Streulichtblende des Sony Zeiss 50mm 1.4 habe ich mir diese bestellt und die Größe und Verarbeitung sprechen für sich. Noch ist abzuwarten wie sie sich in der Praxis bewährt aber diese Blende erzeugt zumindest auf den ersten Blick keine Vignette und lässt sich gut montieren, durch den anpassbaren Drehring konnte ich diese schön gerade auf dem Objektiv festschrauben. Ich habe mir diese ebenfalls für das Sigma 85mm 1.4 DG DN sowie das Sony FE 35mm 1.5 bestellt und bin mit allen dreien zufrieden.
