CompTIA Linux+ and LPIC Practice Tests: Exams LX0-103/LPIC-1 101-400, LX0-104/LPIC-1 102-400, LPIC-2 201, and LPIC-2 202 1st Edition

I passed the LPIC 101-500, 102-500. I know it says 101-400 and 102-400, but lets be honest its Linux. Not much changes. TLDR: 48 questions per chapter, one practice exam for the 101 and one for the 102. Valuable resource.I am only knocking this a start because I would have liked to see more practice tests. There was only 1 for each exam. I know its greedy but I would have like more, even if they had to repeat questions. I find that they are a great way to judge study progress.There are 48 well thought out questions per chapter, although I may have skipped chapter 6! It is low weighted on the exam. Don't do what I did though lol. The practice exams were a great wake up call and allowed me to pin point areas of study.Obviously don't just buy this book and try to pass the test with it alone. Read an actual study guide, then use this book to tell you where you are lacking. Study FHS, Config files, Environment Variables, Grub2/Grub Legacy, etc.. Good luck, hope this helps you make a decision. I don't regret buying this book, even if it wasn't the 101-500, 102- 500. PS: Use the man pages too!

I received this book and attempted to register for the Sybex test prep test bank at wiley.com/go/sybextestprep. The security question regarding chapter 2, question 19, is incorrect, either on the registration page or in the book. Otherwise, this book is probably ok for preparing for the linux+/LPIC exam.

I used this book to check if I was ready to take the LX0-103 and LX0-104 exams or not. It prepared me well for them. I am CompTIA Linux+ certified now.

Each question has only one correct answer. If the test follows this format I am pleased. Overall, I am hoping that this book will help me pass the exam topic.

It really helped me prepare for the 101 and 102 exams. Currently using it for the 201 and 202 exams.
