Goodbye "Under-voltage detected! (0x00050005)"
My venerable Pi 2 is a steam locomotive that just keeps chuggin', unlike the power supply I originally purchased for it.As soon as I started seeing the dreaded under-voltage entries in syslog it was clear I needed a new power supply. I ordered this power adapter, it showed up quickly, and I haven't seen an under-voltage message, or random reboot since.Added bonus, the power switch is actually kinda handy.

Must have Pi accessory
I tried running my Raspberry Pi 3 B plus with a standard cell phone charger. While this did work, I constantly had the low power light coming on and the device was not functioning as well as it could.Since getting this charger, I have not seen the low power light once, even though I am now overclocking the device and running a fan off of the gpio PIN. Thurs is a must-have Pi accessory. While the above is enough to make it worth the price, the fact that it adds the the functionality of an on-off switch to the Raspberry Pi makes this device a no-brainer.

Throws EMI/RFI
It provides good voltage to my RPi3B+, but it also threw a huge amount of EMI/RFI into my audio equipment and interfered with my OTA TV signal. I had to return it.

Sleeper Secret Walwart - Excellent Buy!!!
I love these. I've purchased a couple of them for different phones and for IoT projects. They are solid and run extremely cool. I've powered my Raspberry Pi and 7" touch screen and all the peripherals for 2 weeks at a time and this thing never got hot!!! The only thing I don't like is the relatively short cord...double the length and I'd add another star.

works great - cleaned up noise in video processor
I was getting some noise in the picture with my RetroTink-2X when powering it using USB from my TV. I switched to one of these and it cleared everything up perfectly. Just goes to show you, it pays to have a clean power supply as power from any old USB source might have a lot of noise in it. The adapter seem to be of good quality and the switch is really nice.

Fixed my Raspbery Pi power issues ! highly recommend
I had a 2A power supply provided with a Raspberry Pi starter kit. When I used the Raspberry Pi for retrogaming , and getting audio from the speaker 1/8" jack, the Raspbery Pi would show a lightning bolt on the video screen, which I was told meant the power supply was low. Sometimes running games, the audio would actually slow down. This 3A supply fixed all issues ! I'm a happy retrogamer with great sound.

lasted about a week
It worked great for about a week, and then it completely died randomly one day. It was plugged into a high quality UPS / surge protector, and no surges were recorded that day, it just stopped working.

Good power supply for the raspberry
Good power supply for the raspberry, 3 amp(15Watts) is plenty of current for it. I like the On/Off switch, if you are experimenting, dont need to pull the power either from the raspberry or AC outlet.
