Trader Joe's Unsweetened Sunflower Seed Spread

I like the fact it's made with pure ingredients. Sunflower seeds. No added sugar or preservatives. Very tasty.

So happy that this came as a fresh tasting butter and not rancid-y taste! Easy to use and flavorful! Wish it was cheaper but seems all healthier food for you is now days :P

Ive been looking at the local stores, but it seems that if their sunflower seed butter has salt, it also has sugar. I hate sugar in my sunflower seed butter. This one has no sugar, has tasty sunflower seeds, has a creamy texture, the oil does not separate (I wonder how they managed that), but it does have more salt than other brands I’ve tried, and too much salt for me. It says that the only ingredients are sunflower seeds and salt, but FDA regulations allow very tiny amounts of ingredients to not be listed, and I wonder if something has been added to prevent separation of the oil.

I need food that's egg-free, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free. It was pretty easy to use this sunflower butter in a cookie recipe to replace almond butter. It naturally has a strong flavor, though, so can't be used as a replacement in just any recipe. But goes well with ginger to get the taste of ginger snaps. Satisfying.

It tastes sweet even with no sweeteners in it, just The RIght amount of Savory & Sweet, I love it, Very Happy Buyer here will Happily Buy again!

I always read the bad reviews before I purchase something and this product is no exception. But It seemed the worst review was only that they did not like the taste. So I figured I would give it a try. Actually it has the same consistency as many natural peanut butters and I liked the taste and texture.

It tasted better than expected, and much better than other brands or similar products.
