Terrific little guide book.
Easy to carry around and the maps are so helpful and all inclusive.

Lonely planet travel guide.
Went to Copenhagen for the first time in October last year (2022), with my family and we all found this guide very useful. It also has lots of pictures, which eyewitness guides are grate for. If you want a specific for Denmarkâs Capital guide, then do not get this, as this guide covers all of Denmark! My family and I want to explore more of the country in the future, which is why we chose a whole country guide, rather than a specific place one. I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit more than one place and explore beyond Copenhagen in the future.A very good guide.

All over Denmark this guide is great
Having previously been primarily a Lonely Planet fan, these DK Eyewitness books they have been publishing in the last few years have started to win me over. Gone are the childish drawings and in is good use of colour and plenty of photographs to keep you informed. This Denmark guide is one of their long format versions with plenty of detail that I decided to check out having recently returned from neighbouring Norway with a taste for more of the region. With the detail comes the length and size of the book, it really is quite long though it's not too big that I wouldn't consider packing it in a small bag to take away with me. The book is divided into various sections, some of which will be useful prior to the trip - such as suggested itineraries while others more useful while you're on the ground - such as maps and details on key sights. The book is well laid out and has comprehensive coverage of cities and the countryside including all the major sights as well as a few smaller placesOverall then if you're looking to get away in Denmark this is a pretty good companion to help you plan and enjoy the holiday.

Up to the usual standard - more information than most of us will ever need
DK guides have been my go-to for many years - I find them much better than L*n*ly Pl*n*t and R**gh G**d*s because of the superior visual presentation with colour photographs and diagrams (though for all I know those others could have changed in the meantime). They use the strapline "Inspire/Plan/Discover/Experience" which I think is very fitting, as they are very useful from the outset when first starting to think about where you are going on holiday, through to the planning stage and then taking along with you. There's more than enough info here than most of us will ever need for a holiday.

Attractive and easy-to-navigate guide
DK travel guides used to be awful. They're now far from that. The design and contents have had a total overhaul, and I also like how they are slimmer than Rough Guides (12.5 cm wide), making it easier to fit into a bag while actually travelling.I've only used this Denmark guide to plan a trip - so can't verify how accurate the info is once you are on the ground - but have found it very helpful. From the clear contents page at the front and index at the back, to the clear maps within and under the fold-out covers, this is a book made with the user in mind. The information is bite-sized, well organised, and there are plenty of pics (both photos and illustrations of landmarks) to help you get a flavour of the place.
