This camera is useless, even after you get it set up in the app.I am able to download the app and log in with a google account. After that, you need to set a password for the Xiaomi account and camera itself. This different from your google account, and then you can access the camera feed and settings through the phone. The video and everything look great, in the app... but if you need to look at the feed beyond that, you can't.I spend hours trying to download and set up the desktop software for windows, and no matter what I do, the camera doesn't show up. I updated the cameras firmware, then I logged into the windows program with the same account I made on my phone, but when I go to devices, it says they're none.I have everything the same between the phone and my PC. same account, same region, and the room I created on the phone app shows up, but no camera. If I can't view the camera feed from a web browser, or a PC, this camera is useless for me, as well anyone else because you can't keep a phone app open 24 hours a day for a "security camera." That's crazy.I wasted so much time trying to set this up for nothing. The Xiaomi website is all in Chinese, and I their support site is all automated responses. I can't find an email. How do you get support for these things? The listing for this camera looked too good to be true. I should have gotten a blink camera at this point, despite being poor quality, at least they have customer support you can contact.Avoid this brand of "home security cameras" as all costs.
