Great for hanging egg chairs! (Update)
*Update July 2020*I've owned it for awhile now. It hasn't ever tipped. I've moved this to my back patio and absolutely love it. It's my go to for my morning coffee. I've had my two energetic boys and their friend sitting in the chair with them swaying in the chair and I don't worry about it tipping. This is such a great stand and makes it very easy to clean around. The black caps that cover the poles come off a lot and I'll need to remove a little bit of rust in that area. That's just normal maintenance though. I'm so happy with my purchase and really feel safe in it. I have tripped on the legs a couple times but that was from me not paying attention. They do stick out far so keep that in mind. I was going through a lot of chemo and was very unsteady so I really needed a sturdy stand. This is still one of my favorite buys.I've been researching different stands for my hanging egg chair. Finally came across this one and bought it after reading the reviews. Very sturdy stand. I don't worry about it tipping to the side. Really great that the bottom is open so I can easily vacuum. I was able to put it together by myself. Took a couple tries to line up the bolts. No tools needed. Only difficulty was putting the stabilizers on. You have to pull each side outward and quickly place it on the pole before you attach it to other poles. The poles did have a couple small scratches but that happens. It was really packaged well with each pole bubble wrapped. Highly recommend this stand. I use my chair every day now. Thank you for such a great product!

Pretty and no tools needed!
The stand is so much more attractive than the others I found! This is larger than I expected (even after measuring), and really heavy. That actually ultimately served as a comfort to me since I’d never been in a swing like this.I made the mistake of putting this together inside, then realized it was far too tall to get out of the door and onto the porch. So I disassembled half of it, and reassembled it in about 5 minutes outside. Fortunately, I had read reviews about assembly, which was key to assembling it quickly and easily.DO NOT take off the bolts on the top portion as one reviewer suggests. Although it is counterintuitive, the top piece will stretch perfectly to fit into the base. Just spread the pieces apart, and trust that it will work.I bought a padded cloth chair from another company, and it’s spectacular. The stand has a little bounce but feels very sturdy and protective.

Does the job
Sturdy. Easy to assemble. Only complaint is that it was obviously opened and returned by someone. At least all of the parts were there.

So far the stand works great! Very sturdy
So far the stand works great! Very sturdy. I have used it every day since I received it. There is a nick on one of the feet that I have been keeping an eye on. Even though I am in Arizona where we don't have much rust issues, we did have a big rain storm on it's second day of having it and that nick is rusted. The nick probably happened during shipping as I explained in my packaging review that it was poor packaging. I will have to treat that area and add some paint so the rust won't continue. Other than this, the stand is great! They just need to do a better job on the packaging so the rust won't be an issue. I am handy so I can fix this, but there are many who are not. I will update this is any issues arise.

Great stand
Chair was easy to assemble, no tools except something to cut zip ties holding tubes together. Hung the chair on it and the chair was too high (I'm 6 foot). Purchased a Hammock chair spring which brought it down to the right height. Should have been part of the kit. This stand is different than all others. three reasons it is better. 1) legs are spread apart for better balance, your feet don't hit stand 2) Easy to move, you don't need to anchor it to the ground, so it is easy to move to mow. It has plastic feet so you can move indoors during winter. 3) Heavy duty, the design and weight of tubing make it very sturdy. I'm an engineer and this stand met all my expectations except packaging could have been better. Had bubble wrap around each piece but components are heavy and slide around in box causing scuffs & scratches in paint. Shipped from California to Indiana. The box was destroyed by the movement.

Its OK
Instructions are basically useless. It makes creaking and stressing sounds if you swing even a little bit, its constantly bending and flexing. Takes up a HUGE amount of space. If a kid was to hop in this thing an start bouncing around, its all over, its going to break.

Easy to assemble
I purchased the used version of this product. It didn’t come with instructions but someone else posted a picture on here and I was able to figure it out quite easily. I copied that picture of the instructions and just put a little idea of the order it should go in. Starting at the bottom and working your way up. I put a double headed red arrow at the top (where the number 4 in purple is) When the pieces come, the top part looks like it won’t fit. the top part needs to be pulled apart as you are sliding them onto the other 2 pieces that are vertical. It does fit. I also have a picture where it looks like the 2 holes do not line up, so you can’t get the screw piece in. What I did was wedged my shoulder into the middle of the pieces (where the red double headed arrow is) and was able to adjust the two holes enough that I could screw in the piece. It didn’t take a lot of strength to do it. The legs of the piece are a little longer in person than what they seem in pictures. My ceiling is about 7 feet tall and this fits perfectly.
