Expensive but the best
"You pay for what you get" is what I keep telling myself when I buy more of these. I now have them in every room. I have tried different smart switches over the years and smart bulbs, to allow my house to be automated with lighting. They are without a doubt the most reliable and easy to set up smart switch and because these dim, and turn on and off via smart speakers then this opens a world of automation.I can use other devices such as NFC sticker or a smart switch or my voice to turn my house off and set my ring alarm as I leave the house. Setting the lights to turn on and off, for security. I can dim them, for mood lighting in "Movie mode" easily set up in Alexa or Google. In summary if you are looking to control your lights remotely via their very good app or via Alexa or Google then this is the switch for you. You just have to put your hands deep in your pockets. Yes you need to buy the hub to control them, but that is why they work well. Just factor that in your budget. They can be retrofitted, so just replacing your existing switches, I have found once or twice, that they are a little deeper than some of my old switches, but that is easily solved. You can link up switches together, without them being wired together, like normal switches would need to be. Such as bottom and top of stairs. They can do other things, like start music or sounds from your smart speaker, using routines in Alexa.I would recommend, they are expensive. But you pay for what you get...

Needs a separate hub to work as well as being expensive and faulty.
This was unusable. Electrician fitted then discovered it needs a hub. A cheap £20 one jsut works with google home without issue. It also wouldnt work properly in manual mode leaving the dimmable lights on minimum brightness no-matter what i did with it.

Good home kit compatible system that replaces standard wall dimmers.
These dimmers are part of a house wide system. They replace the standard wall dimmers meaning you can use any (dimmable) bulb or lumiere with integrated emitters. You do need a Lightwave hub but this controls many dimmers and sockets from the range. This is much more than a smart bulb and is not for everyone but it works reliably with Apple HomeKit as well as Alexia and Google Home to make your house smarter than the average house.
