Excellent Image Quality
I did not expect a sitcom like That 70's Show to have a filmic Blu-Ray release, but I was suprised. The image is incredibly sharp! It's also in widescreen, which isn't new since it was also like this on Netflix, but it's the first time it is on home media. This is one of those shows that was filmed with both 4:3 and 16:9 in mind, so this is pretty cool. This is such an upgrade over the DVD's, it honestly night and day.I do have two minor nitpicks, but honestly nothing to make me detract from the score. First, I noticed one joke (in the first five seasons I watched), that was kinda ruined by the widescreen. In the second episode of season 3, Eric sneaks out of this room, and the camera pans over to Red waiting for him. Thing is, you can see Red just off screen the whole time in this release. Second, there's supposed to be some mouths moving on top of cardboard cut outs in a season 4 episode, but there's strangly missing on the Blu-Ray, just showing the regular cut outs. It's only 15 seconds long, so not really an issue (I saw YouTube commentors saying, "I'm sticking with my DVDs!" over this, which I find kinda laughable).

Seasons 1-7 are superb, but season 8 gets a little annoying
This series is one of my absolute favorites! It has a perfect cast of characters and are played by the best actors and actresses you could ask for. I watched this when it first aired on Fox and watched it two more times on Netflix. I figured if I watch it this frequently, I should just own it. This show will make you laugh every time you watch it and won't get old for a very long time. However, the few bad things that happened are, Lisa Robin Kelly (Laurie Forman) was let go after the fifth season due to alcoholism and was replaced by actress Christina Moore, (like we wouldn't notice) Topher Grace decided to leave the show alongside Ashton Kutcher to pursue movie roles, but both did return for the series finale. lastly, the thing that bothered me most about season eight was the addition of Josh Meyers (Randy Pearson). I really hated that character because it felt like they were trying to replace Eric Forman with him and it also seemed like they were trying to hard to make him fit where he didn't belong. They also brought back Tommy Chong to try and replace Michael Kelso as the dumb goofy one. Those were most of the bad things, but I still absolutely love this show and would recommend it to everybody!

Best tv show ever
Best tv show I only wish it would have shown more Jackie and fez love life because they are my favorite characters. The tv show is very funny and brings you to laughter every episode. Cast of the show are the Best actors and actresses to feel in these loving characters shoes and yes I can't stop watching it. The style and production is just like the 1970s as well as the color but restored with excellent picture quality and best of all widescreen for the first time I believe. The blu ray set is much cheaper and better made then the first the first blu ray release. Plus the first is really crazy put together and much more money. The only disappointing thing is this blu ray release doesn't have bonus features. But this release is better release of the blu ray and also way better then the dvd release. I would definitely say if you're looking for a widescreen version and picky about the blu ray set being in crapy condition this is the version you should buy. I'm very happy with mine. I would give it 1000 stars if I could. Best tv show. Very happy.

A Phenomenal TV Series
Maybe fiction, but so much of this series is what so many folks lived in the 70's. The cast is truly "ALL-STAR" too! The mastery of each episode easily brings to the present the humor and the realities of the past. Like 3rd Rock From The Sun, the mini-series' North and South, John Adams, and so many others, it's impossible not to enjoy these episodes each time seeing them as re-runs like it was seeing them for the first time.I can't really tell with this bluray set, (I'm satisfied with it), but it's VERY annoying to expand 480 screen recordings to 720 screen format. The originality of so much of the picture is sacrificed that essentially destroys the scenes. So much of the top and bottom of the film is cut off when enlarged to the 720, BUT, for what it's worth, if anything, at least keeping the correct proportion of the film content.
