The camera looks really good!! It is real hd 1080p camera, unlike other cameras selling online, this one has a stable quality of video that I can shoot, which makes me and my 3 year old son both happy!! The Birthday video I recorded for him posted on Facebook received almost 100 likes there, which makes my whole family full of happiness. Thank you for delivering such a perfect product to our life!!!

The camera is very handy and handy to use. I really like it. It's super nice to take pictures and videos. I use it to record every precious moment, like skiing, parties, and graduation.

Upon purchasing the HDV-514K Plus camcorder; I was not expecting 4k. I just wanted a camcorder that would record in 1080p with night vision capability. It does come with 2 batteries and a battery charger. The handle is actually a very good build and the only good thing with this package. There are video settings from 720p up to 4k with different fps settings. Unfortunately, even in 4k setting it does not record in HD. The inability to record in HD in day mode; just killed it for me. Night vision does work; I checked it for a few seconds but didn’t record. There was just too much noise in the video. The audio was also horrible. I even used a different upgraded mic; that sounds good with my camera. I did not try camera mode since I was not planning on using this mode. During testing of the camcorder; I did transfer all the files to my laptop to review the video and sound quality.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a great cannon HD camera but decided to try A 4k camera. I have everything set up right but the picture quality is very poor and so the sound quality even with the mic. It is very fuzzy and the audio sounds like it is someone talking on a phone. Plus, sometimes you have to hit the record button several times before it starts recording and also to stop recording.

The media could not be loaded.  I compared photos to my cell phone, which is a budget device with a 48meg camera sensor. I've pasted the full images from my cell and this video camera. Also, enlarged detail from each image. The resolution of the 6976x5232 48meg image compares similarly to my cell's 4608x2592 image. More than adequate for me when scaled down to web display sized.The camera itself is a light-weight cheap plastic. The hot-shoe accessory holder is right in front of a contour bump that blocks standard thicker attachments, so the included mic is the only thing that fits.However, the display is bright in day light. As a video camera, I expect it will record for an hour without overheating like my phone might, but I haven't tested that.I am satisfied with this product and confident it is not a phony rip-off with a cheap sensor.
