The coffee I ordered looks good I can't say how it tastes or smells because it's a gift.

We love Brown Bear coffee, it's just the best brand. We have been buying their products for years as gifts - my brother is a big drinker of coffee - and we always get told how nice and smooth all their blends are.This set is no exception and is a great introduction to their medium roast range. The beauty of buying the beans as opposed to the pre ground coffee is that you can grind them to the consistency that you need for the brewing method you're using. My brother uses an aeropress, drip filter and sometimes a stove top mokka pot so having beans means he can grind the coffee to the perfect consistency he needs for each piece of coffee making equipment, which is especially great for the mokka as most ready ground coffee is a bit too fine to use in that.All three blends are great quality and have received rave reviews but the Sweet Brazilian seems to be a particular favourite of his when he doesn't want something too strong or overpowering.Another brilliant set from Brown Bear which would make a fantastic gift and an introduction to a lovely ethical brand for someone - we highly recommend them!

This set of 3 x Brown Bear medium roast coffee beans arrived boxed.Each resealable bag has 227g of good quality coffee beans.Selection includes - Blue Mountain, Sweet Brazil and Real Colombia coffee.I tried it from my Philips bean to cup coffee machine and also grinded and made in the cup.All three coffees taste nice, but my favourite is Sweet Brazil as it is strength 2 coffee, it is still full of flavours, but doesn't have bitterness, just perfect for me.My partner prefers Blue Mountain sort as it is slightly stronger.Perfect selection for me as I found it difficult to buy a good quality coffee which is rich in flavour but not bitter.I tried also to mix coffee beans from all three sorts, it was also tasty, I guess you can't go wrong with good coffee beans.Excellent selection of coffee beans, reasonably priced, would be a great gift idea for a coffee lover.

Delicious tasting coffee beans, smells really nice and powerful on opening each bag, there is a small selection of beans: blue mountain, Brazilian and colombian, each of which are tasty in their own way, my favourite of the three is definitely the blue mountain. Brews perfectly for a delicious cup. Three 227g bags will lasted my household a few weeks, i used these in my bean to cup machine without any issues.£20 (at the time of review) works out just under £30 per kilo and is over double what i would pay for my preferred coffees, usually around £10-12 per kilo so unfortunately for me, even though this has been nice to try, it would have to be much better value for me to buy it again. In particular, I would definitely like to buy the blue mountain by the kilo at a decent price.

For some reason I didn’t think I will like this coffee, but I’m happy to say that I was wrong. I’m quite picky with my coffee, I don’t like bitter, very acidic coffee and this set is the exact opposite. I would say this set contains light to medium roasts.The set comes with three different varieties of coffee, all enclosed in 227 g resealable bags. The varieties are: Blue Mountain, Sweet Brazil and Real Colombia. The price for the set is currently £20, which works out about £6.60 per pack.The Real Colombia is my absolute favourite. So light, not too acidic and very smooth.Sweet Brazil is also really nice, Blue mountain is probably my least favourite as it is quite strong in flavour.The beans grind really well and were very fresh upon opening.It’s worth mentioning that 5% of sales are donated to a bear charity called Free the Bears Uk.Overall this is a really good set for anyone who prefers light, sweet roasts. This is a three-pack of coffees.The packs can be easily resealed, as the bags have a ziplock, but I moved these into an air tight container for freshness.Each of the three coffees has a distinct flavour but all are easy to drink and not too strong.I would say all of these are "everyday" type coffees, with a mild and easy flavour. Not too caffeinated.As the packs are quite small, this is probably a good way to try the different flavours and see which one you prefer.

Love this fab selection! Feels like a treat but is really good value so I can justify drinking it daily. The triple pack is great value compared to the supermarket.Although it does mean an extra step, grinding your own beans is pretty much the ultimate in flexibility. I can use this in the pod coffee machine (with special pod cases) or the cafetiere.I wish I could say I had a more sophisticated palette when it comes to the taste of these, but can confirm the are all easy to drink, have a smooth flavour and a subtle sweetness - no bitterness.What I really love about the product and brand though is that 5% of sales goes to charity, so it’s coffee that tastes good and does good!
