My new 'go- to' way to holding down a work piece when CNC machining wood
I wasn't sure this would work as an alternative to 'painters blue tape and super glue' to hold down work pieces for CNC machining wood. I find that tape/glue can lift at the corners sometimes, but this tape seems to be better in this respect. Its also very much easier to use than the tape/glue method.The only issue is if the CNC bit comes into contact with this tape it really messes up the bit requiring you to clean thoroughly with a solvent. But apart from that this stuff is so much quicker to hold a piece down. I have no failures or pieces move whether small or large so far.

quite thick, easy to apply and remove but not necessarily good for fine work and can pull the face off MDF templates

Good stuff . . . wish it were a little tackier though
I like this stuff and it's worth it when I need it. Just wish it a toucher stronger though.

Great 2 sided tape
I use this 2 sided tape for a lot of projects from my CNC to building furniture!! I can’t keep enough of this in my shop!
