These aren't as effective as I had hoped they would be, but they are a significant improvement. I have bench seats at my dining room table, and on the carpet these are very difficult to scoot out when getting up from the table or when sitting down. In fact I have almost gone over backwards a couple times due to the high center of gravity, and the friction of the legs on the carpet. When I installed these the benches are much easier to slide out, but when sitting on them they are a bit more challenging, although much improved over the original setup. The pads are the perfect size for my needs, and can barely be seen on the legs of the benches.When I installed these, I used some sand paper to roughen up the surface, and remove anything that might prevent a good adhesion of the pad. Additionally, after sanding the bottom of the leg, I cleaned the bottom surface with rubbing alcohol to remove any saw dust, and ensure a clean surface. After letting the legs dry for a good 10 to 15 minutes, then I placed the pads on each bench leg.

I had high hopes for these adhesive sliders for my dining chairs which are on carpet. One came off so I used super glue on them and they still would not stay on. The plastic part comes off of the sticky cardboard inner piece. I have used the furniture sliders for moving large heavy furniture so I thought these would help on the chair legs, but the ones that stick on do not. Not sure what I will use now to help these chairs slide easily on my carpet. It is a heavier dining chair.

Tried the Squares because I thought they fit the legs of my storage ottoman better, however they did not glide as well as the round ones do. So I replaced them with the round ones and it now slides effortlessly.

I need to move our large patio umbrella to different locations in our backyard at least once a day to shield our plants from the direct sun ray. I used to move the umbrella by tilting its support base during the move but this made the umbrella holder (attached umbrella to its base) loosed and slightly damaged the its connection threads since our patio umbrella and its base are very heavy, I attached the 1 3/4" sliders to the bottom of this large umbrella base to help to move our the umbrella in the vertical position. These sider help me substantially because it allow me to slider the patio umbrella and its base preventing further damage to the confection threads of the umbrella holder. These are very good products. I did not give 5 stars because their thickness is little thin for my task although they work. I highly recommend this product.

The plastic of these sliders are thinner than I would have expected. Therefore, they bend at the edges when the furniture is placed on them. The furniture still slides but I don't believe they will hold up for long. I leave the furniture sit on them all the time. I don't understand how I could remove them after the furniture is moved. The purpose of these are to make it easier for me to move the furniture to clean. If I can't move the furniture by myself to clean, I certainly can't lift the furniture to put these under the legs every time I want to clean.

I got these for a large, storage-style ottoman. I wanted something for my legs while sitting on the sofa, but found the ottoman such a royal pain to move close for use, and push away to arise, that I initially thought I'd stop using it. I'm so thankful I stumbled upon these sliders, because they completely did away with the slide/move problem. Now, my ottoman does my bidding with ease.

Wanted glides for a piano bench. Bench legs were 1 1/2" sq. The 2" sq glides were useless; they dragged on the carpet.Maybe it's because piano benches are top heavy. Ended up using some 5" round glides I had on hand and they worked perfectly. So depending on your circumstance, you may need larger glides than you think you'll need.

Disappointed. Was expecting better. They look nice and the size is good, but it's still difficult to push my heavy sofa bed, which was the reason for the purchase. Sliders I have owned in the past made movement much easier. I think the problem is that the plastic surface, where it sits on the carpet, is not slick enough to slide easily.
