Conimar 11-1/2-Inch by 15-Inch Flexible Cutting Mats, Old Zin Vines Design 75219, Set of 2

I LOVE these!I recently moved and remembered my mother had bought me a Bistro design mat for my other house (that I moved from). I was really tight for space at that house and thought it was not needed. I did use it for its purpose though, to cut things on and it did hold up well. I like that it did not destroy the design nor cut through the mat. However, being tight on space, I stored it above the stove and if you bend these, they do not go back to shape.A few weeks ago I moved into my new house and it was a foreclosure. I literally had to replace everything including the kitchen sink. I was not able to do the counters though, not yet; it is on the list of things to get done. The counters where I live are very light and very stained. One area has a burn mark on the counter and it always bothered me. I took out the old mat my mother bought me and had it on the counter. It did not lay flat but it really added to the room. It looks like a chopping block you would place on the counter. Since the corners were curled up I decided to see if Amazon carried them and here I am. I have two sitting side by side on the counter now and they look great! If you have a stain on your counter and need something cheap to cover them, this is the answer. I also love opening food on top of it that does stain because they wash nicely.I do want to add that they are not listed correctly on here and please refer to my pictures. Amazon listed them as "Dishwasher safe, top rack", this is not correct. They are to be hand washed with soapy water. Please do not place them in your dishwasher. I took a picture to show you that the manufacturer even states to wash with soapy water.Another added bonus, they are made here in the USA! I did not see that on this page but took a picture of the tag as well. It was nice to see a product that is not made in China. For the price, I really got what I was looking for. I hope the pictures help as well.

Gets slippery and moves on counter but very easily washed and stored away! After a while the plastic starts to wear away so will need to be replaced after a year or so.

Very thin material that is easily cut through

Was hoping for something a bit heavier, but still flexible. Or at least with some grip. But these are very slick, thin plastic. They do the job and wash up well, but that is all I can say for them.

Like these very much...Colorful and work well with its flexibility. Easy to wash and hold up well to cutting.

It works for cutting but since there is no adhesive backing it slides, I rolled a piece of tape and put it to the four corners on the back side and stuck it to the counter, no more sliding.

Love these cutting mats so colorfull with the great design and the cut marks don.'t show up like in.mu old ones that these replaced.

We received this for Xmas 2011. We were happy to get them and excited to try them. We felt let down after using them once. The mat cut too easy and small amount of plastic slivers came off while prepping food. We threw away what were cutting and the mats.
