I was genuinely excited when I saw the opportunity to review this infra red therapy belt. I've had to put up with chronic lower back pain for many years and nothing really seems to shift it. I've read a lot about red light therapy, but noted that they are not the most convenient devices to use.THis belt looks pretty good. Although the disappointing aspect is that it is not battery powered and need to be plugged into the mains all the while I'm using it. Pity, as I see that this company also do battery operated versions as well and this would have been ideal for my needs.The kit comprises of a plugin power supply, that leads to a on/off controller, then a long lead to the Infra red belt. The controller has a simple on/off button and this can be depressed twice to operate the flashing sequence, as opposed to once to get a steady on cycle.Each cycle is timed for a standard 20 minutes session after time out, it turns off automatically. The instructions arae quite well written, but advise 2-3 20 minute sessions per day. This seems a lot, especially if you have not done this before and a slower build up may be more advisable. Do your own research ...The lights have the standard wavelength for deep penetration and surface effect and they are especially suited for areas of akes, pain and other muscular issues. When the lights are on, they are very bright, but I can't really see them as they are against the skin.The belt is comfortable to wear, but the strap is strong enough to be a cr seat-belt. Really it's too thick and the buckles are hard to adjust. Great for one person, with one area only to treat, but a real pain to keep adjusting for different people and different parts of the body.The good part is the effect. When running the belt provides considerable warmth and a lovely feeling of deep penetration of that warmth, right inside. It's very comforting and even if the therapeutic effect is minimal, the experience of using the belt is well worth the deep relaxation it provides.TIme will tell how effective it is therapeutically, meanwhile I'm just enjoying the comfort and relief it provides. One last big negative, is all the wires that need to be packed way after use. NO bag or storage box is provided and as you will see from my photos, it's a mess to store away when not used.

i was expecting a lot from this product as i have read some information on google stating was the best heating laser belt for burning fat . to get rid a bit of an inch of belly fat or even a small amount but doesn't work at all and also not good for pain relief , i used it on my neck and doesn't do anything . And it doesn't fit well when in ur body, it gets too floppy to use it after a week . not worth the price !

The connector in the centre of back is bad and often falls out.Strap buckles are difficult to adjust, so removed them and just use cloths to keep pad in place
