Relatively inexpensive, and if used with thicker sauces, I'm not experiencing any leakage. As I read other reviews, where others have complained about leaks, it appears they did not read the product description that clearly states they're intended for thicker sauces. If you wish to use them with something thinner, I think you'd have to invert the bottle between usage to prevent thinner fluids from leaking out. I am not experiencing any leakage during use, so IMHO, they're fit for purpose... and are serving me well by keeping my various condiment sauces easily accessible and ready for use. As for washing, I find them equally easy to clean. I don't intend to try to wash them in the dishwasher, as I suspect heat would distort the plastic caps. But hand washing is easy. As for cleaning the actual dispersal gasket, as I wash them, I fill the container with soapy water and then press that out through the dispersal gasket, the same as if I were dispensing a sauce. I then thoroughly rinse the container and end caps, and then run several containers of warm water through the dispensing gasket to remove any traces of dishwashing soap from them as well. Then I just leave them to air dry, or refill if immediately being put to use again. I recommend them without hesitation.

Great concept...poor execution. These are similar in design to bottles used by Subway, but poorly treated and/or manufactured. Squeeze slowly AND gently or you will have the lid popping off and a plateful of messy condiment. Trust me, it happened to me, and I'm not happy with this product. As you're putting on the elid you will notice the lid will skip off the track and pull off. The same applies when squeezing the bottle full of condiment. The pressure is too great for the lid design.

I wanted to give them ZERO stars, but I couldn’t. They are terrible! When squeezed, the top popped off and the contents poured out. This happened with mayonnaise, maple syrup, ketchup and plum sauce. They are supposed to be for thick sauces, but they are not.
