Holden Modern Indoor Rocking Chair - Upholstered - Buttercream

I loved how this rocking chair looked when I bought it. It does have a deep seat but thats not a problem if you use a pillow behind your back and I usually have my feet on an ottoman. I am 5'3". It was easy to assemble.I use the chair to rock/nurse my baby so I sit in it a lot through out the day.My only issue has been the seat pad, there is a board that runs through it and it becomes very uncomfortable on my tailbone. I find myself scooting forward to get off of the board. I am not very heavy so it isn't an issue of weight capacity. I don't know if this is a manufacturing issue on just this one chair but I will likely be looking for a different chair.

We love this roomy chair! My husband and I are both tall so we love that the chair is deep and that the back is tall enough for us to rest our heads still. We wanted a more modern rocking chair for the baby and this looks great in the nursery in place of a glider. You cant beat the price too!

seat is too deep

Surprisingly comfortable for the lack of cushioning. Clean lines, doesn’t take up too much space. Very deep seat. I love the high back, I can actually rest my head on. I’m 5’10” so finding a rocker with a back high enough can be tricky. My only complaint is when it rocks it moves. So I have to constantly move the chair away from the end table. By the time I’m done rocking and nursing my son to sleep I’m bumping into the table again. Super annoying. I’m not sure if it’s me or the chair. But this wasn’t an issue with the rocker in my daughters room. Wouldn’t buy again but probably not returning.

When I purchased this rocker there were only 3 reviews and they were all about being disappointed with the color. It is more cream than white but the real problem is how deep the seat is. I am not short. I am 5'7 and my feet don't even reach the ground by a long shot when seated. It isn't very comfortable and I cannot easily make it rock. It is very nice looking and the quality is good enough for the price but I would not recommend for any one shorter than 6'0" my main issue with this chair is how it moves when rocked. I have it placed next to a table and in about 15 rocks it's banging against it and I have to get up and move it back over to continue rocking. We have carpet wioa short pile. I even tried putting rug stay tape on the bottom of the legs and it didn't help. Don't buy this chair.

I'm 5'3" and have to use TWO pillows behind me in order for my feet to touch the ground and by then I end up leaning back so far I'm almost laying down. It's proving to be a pretty uncomfortable chair.Originally purchased because of the style, which I still love, but I'm finding I need a chair that works better for my vertically challenged self.

Yes- It's a deep rocker. But we picked out a separate ottoman and have a decorative pillow for back support, and we love it!

I was very disappointed that the color is more cream than white and the fabric is pretty low quality. The major issue is that it is too deep. I am 5'5" and I have to scoot myself forward to ensure that I am able to rock the chair. If you are taller, you might like it. If you are shorter, don't get this chair!!
