Very solid ring mandrel
I recently inherited some jewelry from a family member and ordered this mandrel to determine what size rings I had. This is a really nice, heavy stainless steel mandrel. It comes, as shown, in a plastic case which is very nice for storage! Measurements appear to be on-spot with the rings I own where I know the sizing. I totally recommend this mandrel if you need a quality sizing tool.

Nothing to review other than it is heavy duty , had the measurements increments I needed and was exactly what I was looking for. Great product. However I do wish it came in a cloth bag to keep it in for storage and travel purposes. The plastic tube it came in was crushed and broken. 😱

Perfect for my needs at the time. But incorrect to US CA standard sizes
Update: Compared to the PEPE ring mandrel. The accuracy of this is out by 1/4 size.Original review : Use 16 g and up for wire wrapped rings. It scratches/nicks quite easily from the wire. This is my first one so maybe they are all like that. Otherwise it is fine for what I am using it for. The ring sizing is accurate compared to my ring sizer gauges. It is not grooved and comes with a handy case.

Disappointed by dirty mandrel
Received a grooved mandrel when I ordered the non grooved version. Shipping was only a day over what was originally scheduled, which isn’t a huge issue. What bothered me more was that the wrapping was incredibly sticky and either glue/oil deposit or some kind of product had leaked on the mandrel (see picture). It took several time to wash it off my hands. The weight of the mandrel is good so I am considering keeping it as I can work around the grooved part. But disappointed that it’s the wrong product and that it came dirty.
