2624RB Geotextile Fabric Barrier, 24" x 300"

Fabric strength is sufficient (does not tear easily) and it appears to be good for its intended function, i.e. wrapping around perforated drain pipes to prevent silt from seeping in and plugging the pipes. I did not award 5 stars because I would have used a wider roll (6 ft would have been ideal) if it had been available. I buried the pipes in crushed stone and wrapped the fabric around the outside of the stone layer to allow for better drainage. At 24" the fabric was not wide enough and so I had to overlap 3 runs for complete coverage. Other than that, very happy with the results. Drain worked great during last rain storm.

Love this stuff! I use it for pattern making, or making duplicates of purchased patterns, so I can cut out more than one size. This stuff works wonders, and it's much more durable than pattern tissue. It's see-through just enough to get a clear line, if you're tracing. Lifesaver, this. I don't know what I'd do without it!

I installed this around a french drain about three months ago. So far the drain has worked very well with no complaints. I think this is a very good product and I recommend for french drain applications.

I heard this was great substitute for tracing paper. I have used it once already to trace a dress pattern and really like how easily I can see through the fabric. It is slightly slinky so you have to weight it done properly but so far I think I am going to like it.

The item was sent to an old address more than 70 miles from my current address. Claiming that I did not update my address (as the Amazon rep. already suggested) would not be right, because if that was the case, then they would not have been able to process the CC payment. I contacted both Amazon and the seller. their responses were a joke, Amazon telling me to contact the seller for a resubmission of the item and the seller telling me to contact Amazon for a refund and then I could buy it again from them (with what they would sell 2 items instead of one).Who was responsible for the glitch, that I do not know, but I blame them both for not living up to the needs of the customer hence the rating 1. I have bought many items in Amazon and this is the first time a representative disappoints me that much. She sent a message to the seller that did not describe the exact situation but her fouled interpretation. About the seller this is the first time and the last one that I buy something from them. Their Pilatus attitude did not help me at all. The only reason that I did not go after them all is that I was able to secure the item thanks to former neighbors that helped me, so I finally received the item and I never intended to receive it twice since I paid for it only once, but their attitude were completely flawed. About the item, maybe it is OK, I think I did not buy a good quality item given the weight and its thickness, but this is only an assumption and does not form part of the rating whatsoever.

I used this on top of the gravel covering the leach field pipe to keep the soil out. Seems to work fine. Way more than I needed. But no complaints about that.
