Papel picado ("perforated paper", literally "pecked paper") is a decorative craft made out of paper cut into elaborate designs. It is considered a Mexican folk art. The designs are commonly cut from tissue paper using a guide and small chisels, creating as many as forty banners at a time. Papel picado can also be made by folding tissue paper and using small, sharp scissors. Common themes include birds, floral designs, and skeletons. They are commonly displayed for both secular and religious occasions, such as Easter, Christmas, the Day of the Dead, as well as during weddings, quinceañeras, baptisms, and christenings.

Beautiful banner.
I ordered these for a Dia De Los Muertos event, and they arrived on time, packaged safely in a tube. The designs are beautifully cut out of tissue paper, and the banners are actually larger than I expected (but I am generally bad at reading any kind of math). I liked them so much, that I ordered a second set.The only complaint that I could possibly make is that I'm not a huge fan of the design on the orange banner, but that's a matter of personal taste. And honestly, the background pattern is so beautiful, I don't even care. Thanks so much!

Junk....def caveat emptor. No don't buy it!!!!!
The worst made, flimsiest piece of garbage I have ever paid good money. Do not buy this unless you like throwing away money. An embarrassment for a retailer that thinks they will get return business. Absolute trash.
